You have a passion for doing things The Right Way, you believe Less is More, you want to focus on foundations of system design and architecture (pacelc, consistency guarantees), you care as much about the code you do not write, you’re tired of the hype treadmill and care about the fundamentals. You have battle scars from overengineered and underperforming slop, and you care about writing code that lasts.

Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with our end customers owning strategy and execution. Your responsibilities look similar to that of a hands-on AI startup CTO: you’ll work in a small team to own delivery of high stakes projects with clients. A day’s work may include:

• Delivering solutions end to end that meet the needs of our customers - understanding user pain points, scoping product specs, and designing and building LLM-powered software

• Documenting real-world healthcare workflows and translating them into Agents and Tasks in Anterior's platform

• Writing evals for customers to identify weaknesses and drive improvements

• Analyze request logs, read through prompt data, debug event streams

• Build internal tooling to automate yourself out of the job

• Improving Anterior SDKs or developer documentation based on customer feedback

• Langs: Python / Go / TS, React (and HTMX if you can help!)

• Infra: Nix, CDKTF, AWS
