🔎 About the Role

Medbill AI is looking for a Founding Marketing Lead to drive our brand strategy and accelerate our mission of empowering all Americans to take charge of their healthcare. This role will own end-to-end marketing initiatives and play a crucial part in shaping our company's future. This a hybrid role based in our NYC offices, 3-4 days a week.

  • Launch Medbill AI – Own our Q3 2025 public debut, including positioning, messaging, landing pages, and PR.

  • Be the product’s voice – Develop product narratives that connect emotionally and practically with consumers—and resonate across channels.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with product, design, and operations to ensure consistency from marketing to onboarding.

  • Test & iterate – Run messaging experiments and early growth tests to find what sticks.

  • Leverage partners – Manage work with agencies or contractors as needed (brand, PR, creative).

  • Lay the foundation – Help shape our marketing infrastructure, from tools to hiring plans.

  • 5+ years in marketing, ideally in a fast-growing startup.

  • Proven track record – launched campaigns that drive real business impact.

  • Data-driven – turn complexity into clear, actionable insights.

  • Master communicator – sharp storytelling across B2B and B2C.

  • Product marketing depth – you know how to position a product and speak to users’ pain points.

  • Tech-savvy – skilled in CRM, automation, analytics tools, and growth hacking strategies.
