We’re building Reflow, a workforce and workflow intelligence platform that helps teams understand and improve how work gets done. We’re a U.S.-based tech company with a high bar for talent, ownership, and execution, and we’re intentional about building a strong, globally distributed team from the start.

We’re looking for a Founding Product Marketer to own how Reflow shows up in the market, from positioning and messaging to sales enablement, case studies, and content that reaches the right buyers. This is a hands-on builder role: you’ll shadow our founders on demos, learn the product deeply, define who each use case is for, and turn that into messaging, landing pages, and stories that help sales win. As a founding team member, you’ll set the strategy and execute it yourself.

What you’ll do
  • Product Marketing Strategy: Gain a deep understanding of our audience, develop our positioning and messaging, and communicate about the product and its benefits to our audience.

  • Positioning & messaging: Own our product positioning and messaging, and develop copy and content messages across marketing channels (emails, web, etc).

  • Launches: Plan and execute product launches from strategy to messaging, channel strategy, and measurement, collaborating with product, sales, and CS.

  • Campaign management: Plan and run integrated campaigns yourself, partnering with the founders and sales. There is no existing marketing team yet, so you’ll build this from scratch.

  • Lifecycle marketing: Create content and messaging for email drip campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle.

  • Content strategy: Own our content strategy end to end and create the content yourself, from thought leadership and benchmarks to case studies and landing pages.

  • Customer marketing: Ensure customers are a key part of all of our content, and create customer-specific content to support sales. Own our case studies and the landing pages that showcase them.

  • Modern tooling: Implement modern tools, AI, and workflows for product, ecosystem, campaign, and content marketing, including demos, videos, resources, etc.

  • Sales enablement & demos: Shadow the founder on demos, then own demo flows, pitch materials, battlecards, and use case stories that help sales win.

  • ICP & use cases: Define who each use case is for and keep our ICP sharp with real customer and market data.

  • Competitive intelligence: Map the competitive landscape and turn it into clear differentiation for sales and marketing.

  • Distribution: For everything you create, own the plan to get it in front of the right buyers, including benchmarks, thought leadership, and review sites like G2.

  • Founder voice: Ghostwrite thought leadership for our founders.

Who you are
  • Marketing experience: 2+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on product marketing.

  • 0-1 Build: Hands-on experience in the 0-1 build

  • Industry or business model experience: Experience in saas ideally in a sales-led motion.

  • Product marketing depth: With core competencies in positioning, messaging, and launch management.

  • Marketing breadth: You understand campaign, channel, content, and comms strategy in addition to product marketing strategy.

  • Writing ability: You’ve written short-form and long-form content, and can point to examples of your writing.

  • Goal setting & prioritization: You know how to set both short-term goals and long-term goals that are used for prioritization and focused on impact.

  • Modern tools & AI: Comfort with and/or ability to quickly learn these tools for competitive intelligence, content creation/video, sales enablement, design, etc.

  • Not just a thinker: You should be able to come up with strategy and execute at the same time

  • Technical aptitude: You can learn a technical product deeply enough to demo it and explain it yourself, without relying on someone else to call it.

  • Early-stage experience: You’ve worked at early-stage startups (Seed to Series A) and thrive without an existing playbook.

  • Data-driven: You use customer conversations, surveys, and website data to sharpen our ICP and messaging, and can explain the why behind every change.

  • Authentic and modern: You don’t fake expertise; you do the homework. You bring a modern playbook and ideas

  • Warm and responsive: You build trust quickly with customers and teammates and follow through on time.

Bonus Points
  • Enterprise experience

  • 1 to 10 build experience: took a company from Seed to Series A

  • Former founder, whether your company failed or exited

Why join
  • Build Reflow’s marketing from the ground up as our founding marketer, working directly with the founder

  • Define how a new category shows up in the market, from our positioning and story to our voice

  • See your work drive pipeline by partnering closely with sales and turning customer wins into the stories that close the next deal

  • Shape the product roadmap with the market and customer insights you bring back

  • Grow into a marketing leadership role as the team scales

Compensation:

We offer competitive pay based on the market and where you’re located. The salary ranges in our job postings are intentionally wide because they need to cover both U.S. and international candidates. Our final offer will depend on things like your experience, skill set, and location.
