About Us
Treasure is the go-to platform for the card show industry, now expanding into the broader collectibles and convention market.
Most platforms focus on organizers and ticket buyers. We're vendor-centric. Vendors are the ones building audiences on TikTok and Instagram, driving attendance, and turning conventions into cultural moments. The future of conventions is the creator economy and we're building the AI-native solution to power it.
As of March 2026, we've processed over $4M in GMV with strong growth, and we're just getting started.
We're hiring a Founding Engineer to help take Treasure from strong early traction to the dominant platform shaping how conventions are built, monetized, and experienced.
The Role
We're looking for our second Founding Software Engineer. A strong builder with the autonomy, product taste, and pragmatism to own problems end-to-end.
Who You Are
Comfortable with a modern tech stack: Treasure is built on Next.js, React, Typescript, Inngest, Supabase/PostgreSQL, Stripe, Vercel AI SDK.
Comfortable with async workflows: You understand queues, jobs, retries, idempotency, and know how to build resilient systems.
Committed to code quality: You write clean, testable code using pure functions, mocks, and unit/integration/E2E testing.
Comfortable owning features end-to-end: From ideation and development through to deployment, launch, and iteration.
Adaptable: You're excited to wear multiple hats and jump around different parts of the codebase. You're not afraid to jump into new technologies and prototype quickly.
Have a track record of being a self-starter: Side projects and/or open source contributions.
Comfortable managing technical debt: You know when to move fast and when to refactor, and you proactively improve systems without slowing down product velocity.
Bonus if you're into the space: You collect, trade, or attend conventions yourself.
3+ years of software engineering experience.
Why Help Build Treasure?
Small team. Real ownership. Ship meaningful systems quickly, without layers of process or bureaucracy.
Work directly with the founders. Design, debate, and build side-by-side. Your voice shapes both product and architecture.
Build infrastructure that matters. We already support millions in GMV, now we're laying the foundation for the future.
If this sounds like your kind of problem space, we'd love to hear from you!
