Newsweek is looking to hire a freelance sales researcher whose main goal will be identifying and researching potential clients, key executives, and gatekeepers.

Your research will directly contribute to our sales strategies and help us build strong relationships with prospective clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on target companies, including their industry, size, and market position. 
  • Identify and gather detailed information on key executives, including their roles, backgrounds, and contact information. 
  • Research and compile data on gatekeepers, including their roles and contact details. 
  • Utilize various tools and databases to gather accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Analyze and present research findings to the sales team in a clear and actionable format. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted outreach strategies based on research insights. 
  • Maintain and update the sales database with relevant information. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in sales research, market research, or a similar role. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in using research tools and databases (e.g., LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc.). 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of CRM 

 

Freelance rate: $25-30 per hour
