This will start as a Freelance role that may turn into a to Full Time opportunity. This role is remote with possible in person requirements.

Under the leadership of your Senior Account Director, you’ll support the overall client satisfaction of assigned accounts, their revenue growth, profitability, and project management. You’ll use your deep understanding of social media strategy to support the client and our internal team to deliver disruptive creativity. And you’ll have a clear understanding of client communications and drive priorities forward.

ROLE SPECIFICS

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day relationship, success and growth of our clients.  Internally, you’ll collaborate with our cross-functional team to deliver innovative work. You’ll juggle competing priorities as you contribute to assuring agency revenue and profitability. Externally, you’ll manage our clients to the success they dreamed of. You’ll intuit their needs and inspire them with what’s possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Responsible for managing and delivering joy to assigned accounts with minimum accountability for revenue of $1M-3M per year
  • Deeply understand and intuit business needs and develop strategies to meet objectives
  • Work closely with all client team members; participate in defining account plans, needs, KPI’s and translate these requests with clear briefs/direction to the internal teams
  • Serve as key partner and POC to the client. Articulate agency practices, listen strategically, and support growth based on needs
  • Support intake and new business growth as needed
  • Build, lead and presents clients presentations, strategies and concepts
  • Ensure project alignment by defining roles and aligning with internal key team members to kick off projects
  • Oversee client paperwork (service agreements, SOWs, invoices, etc.)
  • Conduct quarterly planning and review sessions with key clients/accounts.
  • Develop and maintain annual, quarterly and monthly revenue forecasts; track and maintain growth and status

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, including client service at a creative agency and possibly brand marketing experience at large consumer brands.
  • Understanding of social media marketing (organic and paid), with expertise managing social-first brand marketing campaigns is a plus 
  • Experience working with global client teams and partner agency teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. Thrive in uncertainty and ambiguously-defined roles. Passion for trying new things jumping off the deep end.
  • Proven experience generating revenue and account growth within existing accounts
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, a drive to succeed
  • Excellent communicator, skilled writer, extremely organized, professional demeanor
  • Ability to contribute in both a strategic and tactical capacity
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and team members  
  • Builds respect by personal example; is respected by and works effectively with all members of the organization and external contacts 
  • Intense desire to excel in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work with top-level executives
  • Demonstrate initiative; is proactive
