Reports to: Executive Director, Delivery Operations
Location: Remote (New York, LA, or Chicago)
Weekly Rate for this Role is: $2500 a week
This is a 3 month project, covering a Mat Leave

 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a passion for operational efficiency to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to draw requirements from internal stakeholders for whom process and documentation may not come easily. You will have the opportunity to set the standard for documentation at Omnicom Production as a living example of best practices. Detail-oriented individuals are highly desired in this role as daily activities may extend into light project management as well as testing of process and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate operational needs and goals into efficient processes and procedures
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create documentation which may include requirements, use cases, process and system flows, functional requirements, technical requirements, and training materials
  • Participate actively in stakeholder meetings to identify needs and build consensus for project requirements
  • Address scope/requirements concerns with project owner
  • Support internal teams to answer questions and provide clarity
  • Decode existing ambiguous process and define missing steps and identify improvement opportunities
  • Review and contribute to project plans
  • Closely review timelines to know the expectation of your deliverables
  • Communicate risks to project owner
  • Analyze internal feedback and recommend process and/or product improvements
  • Seek opportunities to automate manual processes to optimize operational efficiency
  • Lead small projects
  • Lead training sessions
  • Lead feedback sessions of internal users and produce actionable product roadmap informed by insights and feedback trends
  • Test product builds, product updates, process flows and permissions
  • Create dashboards and custom reporting for Leadership consumption
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of business analyst experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, AirTable, project tracking tools such as Workfront
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with visualization tools, such as Power BI, a plus
