Highsnobiety is looking for a connected and highly organized Freelance Talent Director to join our editorial team. This freelance role is focused on spearheading all editorial talent outreach for our digital cover stories and print magazine features. The ideal candidate will come equipped with a strong network of contacts across the talent industry—including agents, managers, and publicists—and have a proven track record of securing talent for high-profile editorial moments. They will serve as the point of contact for all incoming and outgoing talent communication, working closely with our editorial leads to align talent strategy with our storytelling vision.
YOUR MISSION:
- Own talent outreach: Lead booking efforts for all editorial talent opportunities, including Highsnobiety’s Frontpage digital cover stories and biannual print magazine features.
- Be the main liaison: Manage all communications with talent representatives, including agents, managers, and publicists.
- Collaborate with editorial: Work in close partnership with the editorial team to align on talent direction and help bring story concepts to life through strategic casting.
- Track and manage communication: Maintain an organized overview of all current talent conversations, confirmations, and pipelines.
- Bring the rolodex: Leverage existing relationships within the talent and agency world to secure access to a wide range of high-profile and culturally relevant names.
YOUR SKILLS:
- A strong and active network of relationships within the talent and entertainment industry.
- Demonstrated experience in talent booking, casting, or talent management, ideally within an editorial, PR, or media context.
- Clear, professional, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts across several timelines.
- A passion for storytelling, fashion, culture, and the intersection of celebrity and media.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
