About this role:

Front-end engineering at Pikkit is a multi-faceted role with lots of outcome ownership to build new features. We're hiring product-focused engineers who are passionate about delivering high quality experiences to our users. We use React, React Native, Node, AWS, MongoDB, SST, and more. We don't expect you to have deep experience in our exact stack, but we do expect strong engineering fundamentals and a strong interest in reliability, scalability, and product experience.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Build core front-end features for Pikkit’s mobile application

• Spend time working across our React Native frontend

• Work closely with our founders and designers to create beautiful, performant product experiences

Desired skills & experience:

• 1-3+ years of software engineering experience with building at the product/application layer, with a focus on front-end engineering

• Experience with the tooling in our stack, specifically React and React Native

• Strong initiative and ability to thrive in ambiguity — startup or personal project experience is a major plus

• The desire to wear a bunch of hats, learn new skills and have significant product ownership
