Coveo’s products power the information search capabilities of some of the world’s well-known brands. Our cloud platform indexes billions of their products and documents and provides search results in milliseconds in a personalized order. The Coveo Data Platform team is responsible for the capturing, building and maintaining of these input streams, including the data models for reporting and machine learning purposes. They also support documentation and tooling to simplify the usage and self-serve of this data and these data models across Coveo.

The team in Weert, Netherlands is looking for an intern to join them in Summer 2025 to create and own a project in the area of data management, UX and data visualization which will provide valuable insights to our users, directly in our platform. 

A full-time opportunity may be available following the completion of the internship.

Here's what you will do: 

  • Conduct research around existing components of the Admin UI and identify areas of potential for new components. 
  • Build out an interface that allows the user to flexibly query data from the backend based on filters you identify. 
  • Get feedback from your mentor and colleagues based on your learnings to elevate the project. 
  • Propose future areas of evolution that can be implemented to strengthen the interface.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:

  • You are currently studying in 3rd or 4th year or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field in a Bachelors or Masters program. 
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong affinity with data and data processing, including basic SQL knowledge.
  • Knowledge of, or an interest in data visualization and design.
  • You strive to grow, you aren’t afraid to ask questions to strengthen your understanding.
And the cherry on top that will make you stand out:
  • You have experience in SQL, DBT, Snowflake or working with other databases.
  • You have experience with front end frameworks such as d3 and React.
  • Passionate about user experience (UX) and user interfaces (UI).
  • You have great organizational and time management skills.
