Gallery Relations Liaison
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain active relationships with Artsy's leading gallery partners. Working with between 90-150 gallery partners, you will advise them on how to grow their audience and sales through the Artsy platform, provide technical support for managing their online profiles and inventory on Artsy, and maintaining timely communication with colleagues based in New York, Europe, and Asia. You will work with our growing Los Angeles team as Artsy continues to establish a robust local presence. You must be self-motivated and thrive on the ability to work in a small and global team.
As a Gallery Liaison, you will be required to demonstrate a unique blend of art world knowledge, humility, empathy, creative insight, self-motivation, and attention to detail. The role requires an individual who not only excels at fostering external relationships within the arts community, but who is also willing to roll up their sleeves and help galleries manage their inventory and create individualized online listings strategies. You must also be passionate about making art accessible to a greater audience of people through technology.
The ideal candidate has a BA in a liberal arts major (ideally art history), 3+ years of work experience in the contemporary art world, and is an active participant in the local arts community. Experience in a SaaS company or account management a plus. You must be based in Los Angeles and available to start immediately on a full-time basis.
