Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP (GVK), an insurance defense litigation law firm with more than 125 attorneys across five offices, is currently seeking talented attorneys to join our team. We are seeking Associate Attorneys to join our General Liability and New York Labor Law teams. You will manage a litigation caseload involving personal injury, premises, auto liability and construction-related claims. As part of our litigation team, you’ll handle all phases of defense work from intake and discovery through motion practice and trial preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior attorneys in defending insured clients in general liability and labor law litigation
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, briefs, affidavits, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement correspondence
- Appear in court, attend depositions, and participate in mediations and hearings.
- Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and internal staff to manage case strategy and deadlines.
- Coordinate with support staff to maintain organized and up-to-date case files.

Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice in New York and/or New Jersey
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Prior litigation experience is preferred but not required for entry-level positions
Salary:
1-3 year $110k-140k. 4-9 year $140k-180k.
The base pay range for this role is $120,000 – $190,000 per year.
