Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a GL Adjuster with some Bodily Injury (BI) claims. The GL Adjuster will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving general liability claims. The role involves reviewing claim details, conducting thorough investigations, coordinating with relevant parties, analyzing policies and legal documents, and preparing reports. Additionally, the role includes negotiating settlements and maintaining accurate records while adhering to organizational and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong investigative skills, attention to detail, and ability to evaluate claims

  • Knowledge of legal regulations, insurance policies, and risk management

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including report preparation

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in claim management

  • Customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Experience in general liability claim handling or related fields is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years of GL and BI handling experience

  • Subro understanding a plus

  • Background working with engineer teams for system builds

  • Must be curious and have the drive to make things work
