Your Team

The Global Allocation platform is a leading multi-asset investment franchise serving retail, wealth, institutional, and insurance clients globally. The team combines fundamental research, macroeconomic insights, quantitative analysis, and dynamic asset allocation to pursue differentiated investment outcomes across market environments. As part of the Product Strategy team, you will work closely with portfolio managers, product strategists, distribution leaders, and cross-functional partners to support the continued growth, commercialization, and modernization of the franchise across the United States.


Your Role and Impact

As a Vice President within Global Allocation Product Strategy, you will operate at the intersection of investments, product strategy, client engagement, and business development. You will help translate investment expertise into scalable commercial outcomes, enhance the franchise's market positioning, and support strategic growth initiatives across key client segments. This role provides significant exposure to senior stakeholders and offers the opportunity to influence the future direction of one of the firm's flagship multi-asset platforms.


Your Responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:


Franchise Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives across U.S. Wealth, Institutional, Insurance, and Intermediary channels.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the franchise through enhanced positioning, client segmentation, product evolution, and distribution initiatives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Investments, Product, Marketing, and Distribution to drive commercial priorities and improve execution.
  • Monitor competitive developments, industry trends, advisor behavior, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.

Product Strategy & Positioning

  • Help develop and maintain the franchise's investment narratives, messaging frameworks, and positioning strategy.
  • Translate complex portfolio and market insights into compelling, client-focused communications.
  • Support investment team thought leadership through presentations, commentaries, market updates, and strategic content.
  • Assist with product management activities, including business planning, product analytics, competitive intelligence, and commercialization reporting.

Client Engagement & Sales Enablement

  • Represent the Global Allocation platform to financial advisors, institutions, consultants, and internal distribution teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, conferences, roadshows, due diligence sessions, and sales training events.
  • Develop high-quality presentation materials and sales tools that enhance advisor engagement and client adoption.
  • Serve as a key link between investment professionals and distribution teams to ensure message consistency and commercial effectiveness.

Strategic Projects & Platform Innovation

  • Contribute to long-term strategic initiatives across the platform, including distribution modernization, investment vehicle innovation, model portfolio integration, Exchange Traded Fund (ETF)-related opportunities, digital engagement, and new market development.
  • Support cross-functional projects from concept development through implementation.
  • Help drive operational efficiencies and scalable processes across the product strategy function.
  • Partner with leadership on franchise-wide planning, prioritization, and growth objectives.

Your Experience

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience within asset management, investment strategy, product strategy, consulting, capital markets, wealth management, or institutional investing.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment products.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to make complex investment concepts accessible to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across a large, matrixed organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience working directly with investment teams, clients, consultants, or distribution organizations.
  • Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and execution-oriented mindset.
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$150,000.00 - USD$200,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
