Role Overview
This role supports the Consumer Data Acquisition team and is responsible for managing receipt-based data collection across multiple ingestion channels (OCR, manual transcription, email, account connections).
The position will also play a key role in expanding Circana’s consumer data capabilities into European markets, ensuring data quality, operational scalability, and alignment with regional requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage incoming receipt data flows across all sources, ensuring stability and completeness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues in partnership with transcription vendors and sources
- Translate business and product requirements into data collection specifications
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues
- Manage vendor relationships, including performance, quality, and deliverables
- Own forecasting and budget management for transcription services
- Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and data quality standards
- Produce and share regular performance metrics and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in data collection processes and QA practices
EU / Global Expansion Responsibilities
- Support rollout of receipt data collection capabilities into European markets
- Coordinate with global stakeholders across Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering
- Ensure data collection processes align with regional regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR)
- Evaluate and onboard EU-based data and transcription partners
- Adapt data processing approaches to account for regional differences (languages, receipt formats, retailers)
- Establish and monitor KPIs for EU data pipelines
- Contribute to scalable, global data collection frameworks and best practices
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–10 years’ experience in Data Business Operations
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated ability to work across various data sets and reporting tools
- Action oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing third-party vendors and internal stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
Preferred / Technical Skills
- Experience with data tools
- SQL / Snowflake
- Power BI or Tableau
- Azure

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote U.S. (Eastern Time zone Preferred)
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
