The Opportunity: Global Payroll Data Management Lead
Employment type: Full-time, remote.
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced and analytical Global Payroll Data Management Lead to join our Global Payroll and Human Resources team.
In this role, you will manage the integrity, security, and integration architecture of our payroll data across multiple global regions. You will bridge the gap between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors—optimizing payroll data structures, automating integration workflows, and enforcing data hygiene across enterprise platforms.
What You’ll Do
Payroll Data Oversight: Manage and maintain integrity, accuracy and security of payroll data across global operations ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Data System Development: Design and implement efficient payroll data management processes, including data collection and integration, storage and audit processes to support seamless payroll operations in partnership with our Global Payroll vendor.
Standards and Governance: Develop and support global payroll data management standards, including data quality standards, data sharing protocols and analysis protocols to ensure consistency and compliance.
Data Integrations and Analysis: Manage customer escalations and resolve service issues in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Process Mentorship: Develop processes, tools and training to drive local teams in ensuring good data hygiene practices.
System Enhancements: Evaluate change requests for impacts to integrations. Analyze operational performance data and generate insights to support process improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, IT and external payroll vendors to ensure alignment with global payroll processes, resolve data related issues and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
Payroll & Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience in payroll service delivery with multi-country/global exposure, including proficiency in payroll data structures and integrations.
Proficiency in payroll systems and integrations (for example - Workday, Strada).
Project & Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to lead data change initiatives, manage outsourced vendor performance, and drive cross-functional alignment.
Compliance & Governance: Strong working knowledge of global payroll regulations, compliance requirements for data handling, and auditability.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to drive process optimization and lead cross-functional data projects.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

As part of our commitment to workplace transparency, we are pleased to share the reasonably expected salary range for this position in Slovakia. 24,500 Euro - 32,600 Euro. Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors.
