BitGo is seeking a Public Relations (PR) Manager to drive our external communications strategy, build strong media relationships, and elevate BitGo’s brand voice across traditional and digital channels. This role will develop and execute proactive media strategies, manage press relationships, ensure BitGo’s messaging remains consistent, credible, and differentiated across regions, and manage external agencies in various regions.

Responsibilities:Public Relations & Media Support:
  • Assist in developing and executing BitGo’s PR strategy, working closely with external agencies and media contacts.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content to elevate BitGo’s brand positioning.
  • Prepare talking points and messaging for public-facing leadership and prepare them for their upcoming media opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and proactively identify opportunities for earned media and public relations initiatives.
  • Support crisis communications and reputation management efforts.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and growth teams to develop cohesive messaging across all customer touchpoints.
Agency & Stakeholder Management:
  • Oversee and manage PR agency partners (global) to ensure high-quality execution and measurable impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Sales teams to ensure messaging alignment and campaign coordination.
  • Support global and regional marketing teams in tailoring PR strategies for local relevance and amplification.
Measurement & Optimization:
  • Track media coverage, share of voice, and campaign performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategy.
  • Provide executive reporting on PR performance, brand visibility, and key communications milestones.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media strategy in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of securing coverage in top-tier financial, business, and tech media outlets.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with experience crafting high-impact messaging for different audience segments.
  • Experience managing agency relations and working cross-functionally across global teams
  • Understanding of media relations, press outreach, and PR strategy.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure and optimize campaign performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $130,000 and $150,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus, and the benefits outlined above are also part of this role's package.
