Job Description
Join us as a Chief Greater China Economist and lead the development, coordination, and marketing of our macroeconomic and policy research. This role offers the opportunity to shape market views and collaborate with global economists and strategists.
As a Chief Greater China Economist, you will manage a team of three economists, contributing to our top-rated global economics effort. You will generate market-moving insights in close partnership with economists and strategists across the globe, serving clients across the entire spectrum of JPMorgan's business. This role requires maintaining a high public profile and close contact with policymakers.
Job Responsibilities• Generate macroeconomic and policy views for Greater China• Contribute to Asia regional and global economics and strategy products• Manage the Greater China economics team• Establish a strong profile with internal stakeholder and external firm-wide clients
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills• Ph.D. in Economics• Proven track record producing macroeconomic research• Management experience, preferably in an economics team
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills• Experience in leading a team of economists• Strong communication skills with policymakers• Ability to generate market-moving insights• Experience in collaborating with global strategists• Ability to clearly articulate both Greater China and global economics views to internal stakeholders and external financial institutional and corporate clients
