Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director with a strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem across Publishers, Global Brands, Agencies and Ad Tech.

This is a strategic new-business role focused on winning and growing high-value accounts. You will own your territory, build pipeline from the ground up, identify and penetrate complex organizations, and develop relationships with senior stakeholders across marketing, media, strategy, insights, data and revenue teams.

A critical part of the role is understanding the requirements of global companies — how their needs differ across markets, how buying decisions are made globally versus locally, and the complexity involved in delivering consistent advertising intelligence and data coverage across multiple countries, channels and media environments.

You will combine deep industry knowledge with a consultative approach, helping clients understand how MediaRadar's data and intelligence can address their commercial, competitive

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets through disciplined new-logo acquisition and strategic account expansion.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory and account strategy across Publishers, Global Brands, Agencies and Ad Tech.
  • Build a high-impact pipeline through strategic outbound activity, networking, industry relationships and identification of emerging opportunities.
  • Navigate complex global organizations, identifying key decision-makers, influencers and stakeholders across global, regional and local teams.
  • Understand clients’ international data requirements, including the challenges of market-by-market coverage, cross-channel consistency, data granularity and differing local media ecosystems.
  • Develop enduring relationships with senior executives by deeply understanding their business objectives, pain points and competitive priorities.
  • Translate sophisticated advertising and competitive data into compelling commercial narratives and tailored solutions.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from strategic prospecting and discovery through solution mapping, commercial negotiation and closure.
  • Articulate MediaRadar’s value proposition and competitive differentiation with confidence to Directors, VPs and C-suite executives.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline management and highly accurate forecasting, providing clear visibility into territory performance and growth potential.
  • Stay ahead of developments across advertising, media, AdTech and data to position MediaRadar as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Share market and client intelligence internally to help inform product development, data coverage and MediaRadar’s broader global strategy.

Profile of Success

You are a self-driven, strategic seller who combines a strong hunting mentality with the ability to navigate sophisticated enterprise organizations.

You understand that selling to global businesses requires more than securing a single stakeholder: it means understanding organizational complexity, regional differences, multiple use cases and how data requirements can vary significantly across countries and channels.

You are comfortable operating autonomously while collaborating closely with colleagues across Sales, Product, Data and Customer Success.

Ideal attributes include:
  • Extensive experience selling SaaS, data, advertising intelligence or sophisticated information services within Advertising, Media or AdTech.
  • A minimum of 8 years as a high-performing individual contributor, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of how Publishers, Global Brands, Agencies and Ad Tech companies use advertising and competitive intelligence.
  • Proven ability to penetrate and navigate large, complex global organizations and build consensus across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience understanding and selling against international and multi-market data requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, including cross-channel measurement, media buying, competitive intelligence and creative strategy.
  • Demonstrated success winning new logos and closing complex, high-value agreements.
  • Excellent consultative selling and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business value.
  • A strong network across major publishers, global brands, agency groups and/or AdTech organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the presence to engage Directors, VPs and C-suite executives.
  • Disciplined pipeline management, transparent reporting and highly accurate forecasting.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to share market intelligence and best practices across the wider organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of demonstrated success in quota-carrying enterprise sales, preferably within SaaS, advertising, media, AdTech or data services.
  • Demonstrated experience closing sophisticated, high-revenue agreements requiring multi-stakeholder and potentially multi-market buy-in.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising and media landscape and the commercial application of advertising data.
  • Experience working with global organizations and navigating the complexity of international data coverage is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Benefits

In addition to career progression, training and development, and an excellent work/life balance, future Radarians can expect a great benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • 401k with Company Match
  • Flexible PTO
  • Commuter Benefits
