We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Government Affairs & Communications Associate to support our public policy initiatives and strategic communications efforts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of government relations, public policy, and corporate communications while contributing to Revvity's purpose to improve lives through science and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments relevant to Revvity's business interests
Conduct research on policy issues, industry trends, and competitive intelligence via trade, national and political media
Assist with event planning and logistics for government affairs activities
Track pending coverage and doing a daily scan for Revvity mentions; update coverage tracker as needed
Suggest articles for amplification and draft posts for the Newsroom and internal monitors
Update media list accordingly by adding suggested contacts and keeping other changes up to date
Help update our list of awareness days/months, while recommending any potential awards, events and speaking opportunities for consideration
Draft press releases and media pitches while pitching media directly
Support the team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed, such as the annual Impact Report, briefing documents, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in political science, Public Policy, Communications or Business
1+ year of experience within government affairs, public policy, and corporate communications
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and analytical abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Compensation Range:
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $ 55,000-$60,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
