THE ROLE:

  • Design and animate motion assets including video edits, GIFs, animations, and experimental formats.
  • Create digital media assets for paid social, programmatic, and brand campaigns with a strong storytelling lens.
Innovation & Tools
  • Actively explore and apply AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies to ideation, design, animation, and workflow optimization.
  • Experiment with new visual formats, tools, and approaches that push the brand forward creatively.
  • Stay deeply engaged with design, art, fashion, culture, and media — translating inspiration into relevant, modern work.
Collaboration & Craft
  • Work closely with creative, marketing, e-commerce, and product partners to deliver cohesive, thoughtful creative.
  • Receive and integrate creative direction with confidence, craft, and flexibility.
  • Maintain a high standard of execution, detail, and finish across all work.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6–9+ years of experience in graphic design, visual design, or art direction.
  • A strong, digital-first portfolio demonstrating exceptional aesthetic judgment, concept-driven thinking, and fluency across static and motion.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects); comfort with animation and video is essential.
  • Experience experimenting with or integrating AI and emerging creative tools into design workflows.
  • A clear and confident point of view on color, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong cultural curiosity across fashion, art, design, music, and contemporary culture.
  • Experience in luxury, contemporary fashion, or culturally driven brands is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, move quickly, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open, curious, and collaborative mindset with a desire to continuously evolve creatively.
  • A genuine understanding of — and excitement for — the Marc Jacobs brand.
