Job Description

The Daily Meal is looking for a talented and driven graphic designer to handle all elements of site design, sales/marketing support, and editorial graphics production. If that sounds like a big job, that’s because it is. This role requires fast-paced turnaround of high-quality designs and ability to handle a changing list of priorities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Editorial, Marketing, and Site Development to constantly improve the site design and user experience of The Daily Meal.

Responsibilities:

Develop a consistent, on-brand vision for site style and all creative assets

Working in a team environment, help conceptualize new products and applications while working with stakeholders to turn their vision into implementable designs

Handle all design responsibilities related to product development, including wireframes, graphic design, and pre-launch visual quality review

Create graphics to illustrate sales proposals and, once they’re sold, production graphics for the sold campaigns

Qualifications

Degree in graphic design or related field

Expert at Adobe Creative Suite

Experience designing for the responsive web: HTML/HTML5/Multiple Break Points/Effects Libraries

Experience with Drupal sites is a big plus
