Partisan Music Group, an independent music company from Brooklyn with additional offices in LA, London, Berlin & Paris, seeks a full time graphic designer to join its US team based in New York. The position will be responsible for primarily supporting the day-to-day design needs of our marketing department. This role is highly execution-focused and plays a critical part in ensuring our campaigns are visually cohesive, on-brand, timely, and effective across platforms. The position is full-time, reporting directly to the Head of Artist Development and working closely with the Director of Creative. Remote candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt marketing assets for active release campaigns, including:
    • Digital ads and social assets
    • Streaming platform visuals (DSP toolkits, banners, canvases, thumbnails)
    • Email and website graphics
    • Tour and announcement assets
    • Internal presentations and sales/marketing materials
  • Resize, version, and traffic assets across formats and platforms
  • Ensure visual consistency across campaigns and adherence to artist and label brand guidelines
  • Prepare production-ready files for digital delivery and occasional print needs
  • Manage updates and last-minute changes quickly and accurately
  • Organize and maintain design files, templates, and archives
  • Work closely with the marketing team to meet deadlines and campaign goals
  • Support label-wide initiatives and operational design needs as required

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of professional graphic design experience, specifically working on music, media, or culture-driven projects
  • Strong design fundamentals with an emphasis on layout, typography, and clarity
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in video editing and animation
  • Experience designing for fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator who is comfortable taking direction and feedback
  • Passionate about music and music marketing
  • Familiarity with DSP asset requirements and social platform specs
  • Knowledge of print production for promo materials
  • Ability to design for website/shops/socials a strong preference
  • Ability to code a major plus

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary will be commensurate with the final hire’s relevant skills and experience as well as location and is anticipated at an annual rate in the range of $65K-$70K
