Company Description

SeatSwap provides the premier inter-active marketplace for user to trade event tickets with one another. The company aims to revolutionize the secondary ticketing market and provide a user-friendly interface that makes trading tickets fun and easy. SeatSwap is currently expanding and is gearing up for its beta launch in the coming months.

Job Description

SeatSwap, the web's premiere destination for ticket trading is looking for an independent, creative, and talented intern to work on a wide array of projects from creative marketing campaigns to tweaking and exploring the seemingly lost art of User Interfacing.
This internship is unlike any other you will encounter as we really want to pull back the formalities and the rigors of a typical internship and instead cater it to your strengths as well as what you are passionate about because we've found if you work on something you love and are good at, the possibilities are endless.
So back to what we are looking for, there is no "ideal candidate per se" but we would really like someone who can embrace the autonomy and independence and come up with ideas for projects that they will actually enjoy working on and will ultimately help us in our mission and commitment to empowering and enabling fans to see the acts, performers, teams, and shows they love. Although we do pride ourselves and are sort of famous for our laid-back and independent working environment we also need someone who can multi-task and act as our "Swiss army knife" when fires inevitably come up that need to be put out on a moment's notice.

For those that are more "show-ers" than "tellers" we welcome you to take on our design challenge: We are throwing down the gauntlet to anyone who feels like they have what it takes and simply "get" what we do here at SeatSwap to come up with a design concept that embodies our mission to get more fans to the events they love and also represents what it means to "be there." This can be anything from an idea for a marketing campaign, a logo concept, a t-shirt, etc. The ball is in your court, we just want to see awesome stuff that shows us what you're capable of and that you mean business. All challenge submissions can also be sent to info at seatswaptickets.com.

A love of sports, music, culture, and live events isn't a prerequisite but may be a by-product of this internship experience. If interested in applying please send along a resume, portfolio, and brief email about yourself including what you're good at, enjoy doing, and what you're passionate about to info at seatswaptickets.com and don't be bashful, we shoot from the hip and so should you. We look forward to your submissions and just what to remind you that whether you intern with us or somewhere else that at the end of the day, it's about having fun.

Qualifications

A wide array of creative experience with graphic design including knowledge and expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
