Trove is building the future of collectibles, bringing culture, community, and commerce together in one mobile experience. We're a small team building fast, and we're looking for a Growth Engineer to build the internal systems and automation that power how Trove grows.

In this role you'll own the infrastructure behind our growth: the instrumentation, internal tooling, and automation that connect every part of how we acquire, activate, and retain collectors. This is a role for someone who'd rather build the machine from scratch than run a playbook that already exists. The goal isn't to solve problems one at a time, it's to build systems that make them completely disappear. Each solution that you introduce will compound on the last until the growth engine is largely self-sustaining.

You'll work directly with the founders and GTM leadership, turning what each team needs into high-leverage automations that help our business move fast. You'll build the systems our marketing and GTM teams run on, not the campaigns themselves. The function doesn't exist yet, so you'll define what growth engineering means at Trove and build all of the functional components from nothing. The scope reaches into nearly every corner of the business and your impact will be highly visible at the company level. On any given week, you might:

  • Build the instrumentation and tooling that let the team run acquisition and activation experiments

  • Prototype tools that help the inventory team act on value-based buying opportunities

  • Build dashboards that let partners manage key relationships from one place

  • Automate customer support flows and escalations so issues resolve before they pile up

  • Surface the insights that drive growth, engagement, and retention

  • Build with AI to ship faster and do more with less

You have experience and success in these areas:

  • Building systems end to end: growth stack, internal tooling, automations, and dashboards

  • Owning the instrumentation and experimentation infrastructure behind acquisition and activation

  • Running experiments constantly, then killing or scaling based on what the data says

  • Working across functions, translating what different stakeholders need into the right system for each

  • Operating with high ownership in ambiguity and building momentum from nothing

  • Turning data into insights that change what the team does next

What success looks like:

  • Acquisition and activation run on systems that compound independently

  • The GTM team's output multiplies because the busywork is automated

  • Experiments ship constantly, with the wins set up to scale with the business

  • Leadership reaches for your dashboards and alerts to make decisions
