Meet The Growth & Marketing Team

Ownwell’s Growth & Marketing team is the company’s growth engine. We bring in hundreds of thousands of customers through performance marketing, partnerships, lifecycle marketing, SEO, content, brand, sales, and emerging channels - working hand-in-hand with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Operations to build one of the fastest-growing and most valuable property technology companies in the country.

We move quickly, obsess over results, and aren’t afraid to rethink how things have always been done. If you’re energized by solving hard problems, building from first principles, and turning ideas into execution, you’ll fit right in.

The Role:

We’re looking for a growth lead for new markets - someone who can operate as a strategic thought partner, an operator, and a builder to expand our markets.

This isn’t a traditional growth role. You’ll own some of our highest-priority initiatives, help shape strategy, and personally drive execution on the problems that matter most to the business. One day you may be building the go-to-market strategy for a new market expansion. Next, you could be working with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to unlock a completely new growth opportunity.

You’ll have an unusually broad view of the company and work directly with senior leaders across nearly every function.

What you’ll do:
  • Own strategic growth initiatives. Lead one of Ownwell’s most important geographic expansion efforts with full accountability for growth, customer acquisition, and business performance.
  • Solve the company’s hardest cross-functional problems. Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, Sales, Finance, and Legal to identify bottlenecks, align teams, and drive  business outcomes.
  • Turn ambiguity into action. Break down complex problems, develop thoughtful recommendations, and execute quickly with minimal oversight.
  • Act as a force multiplier. Help the VP of Growth & Marketing focus on the highest-leverage work by driving key initiatives from idea through execution.
  • Build new growth opportunities. Evaluate new products, partnerships, pricing strategies, acquisition channels, operational improvements, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence. Establish goals, improve planning, track execution, and ensure high-priority initiatives stay on track across teams.
Who you are:
  • 2–4 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a high-growth startup.
  • Exceptionally ambitious with a strong desire to accelerate your career and take on outsized responsibility early
  • A first-principles thinker who enjoys solving ambiguous, high-impact problems with creativity and rigor.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to quickly structure complex problems and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Equally comfortable with strategy and execution - you enjoy developing the plan just as much as rolling up your sleeves to make it happen.
  • A natural owner who proactively identifies opportunities, drives alignment across teams, and follows through until the work is complete.
  • An outstanding communicator who can distill complex ideas, influence stakeholders, and build trust across every level of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives without letting things fall through the cracks.
  • Resourceful and resilient, with a bias toward action and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Committed to excellence and willing to make the tradeoffs required to produce exceptional work and accelerate your own growth.
  • You care more about learning, ownership, and impact than title or hierarchy.
Why this role:

This is one of the highest-leverage roles at Ownwell.

You’ll work directly with executive leadership, influence company strategy, and own initiatives that materially impact growth. You’ll gain exposure to nearly every part of the business, from product and engineering to finance, operations, and marketing, and help shape how Ownwell scales over the coming years.

If your long-term ambition is to become a General Manager, founder, or CEO, there are few opportunities that offer this level of ownership, breadth, and learning.

Ownwell offerings

  • Entrepreneurial culture. Own your career; we are here to support you in the journey.
  • Access to First Round Network to build your community outside of Ownwell.
  • Flexible PTO. We believe in giving you the flexibility to own your time off. In addition to flexible time off, you will get 11 company holidays. We close the company operations for the last week of the year to help the team recharge and reset.
  • Competitive health benefits. We care for you and your family’s health, as reflected in our benefits coverage.
  • Learning support through a $1,000 stipend per year to enable investing in your individual learning needs.
  • Supporting parental journey. We offer up to 16 weeks of fully paid parental and bonding leave to support your journey as a new parent.
  • Equity participation. Bring a founder’s mindset to grow and scale us.
  • Complimentary real estate and tax consulting licensing and renewal

Ownwell's vision is to democratize access to real estate expertise. When we say we want to provide access, we mean providing access to everyone. To do that well, we need a team that's broadly representative. We welcome people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and experiences. Ownwell is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital or family status, disability, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other status.
