JOB DESCRIPTION

The Growth Manager, Commerce will help create and deliver content strategy insights to the content and partnerships team to drive growth across all platforms, helping identify and execute on revenue generation and optimization opportunities. 

They will work closely with our commerce content and partnership teams and Business Intelligence team to help deliver insights and actionable tasks to boost revenue.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commerce and Performance Marketing, ideally at a news or broadcast organization, and be obsessed with data and audience.

They will help create content insights and implement content strategy across FOX properties, including FOX News and FOX Weather. The role will report to the Growth Senior Director.

It will be executing a growth strategy that focuses on delivering deals, product recommendations and reviews to our readers and viewers across all platforms (newsletter, social (both paid and organic), video & broadcast). This will be driven by a deep understanding of our audience, where they shop and what they buy, along with knowledge of SEO, digital and broadcast commerce best practices.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our commerce partnerships team, content creation team and business intelligence unit to provide data to maximize revenue through creating compelling, creative audience-focused content.

The ideal candidate enjoys analyzing traffic and conversion results as much as they do brainstorming new ways to engage our audience across platforms with creative, informative articles.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute strategic and innovative approaches to engage our audience across platforms and capture market share

  • Deliver meaningful and actionable analytics and insights to the Commerce team

  • Collaborate with SEO, partnerships product, marketing and editorial teams to drive strategic initiatives

  • Advise and empower content teams teams to create and maintain the best content on the web

  • Work closely with Partnerships VP, Content Insights and central SEO and audience teams to analyze traffic and revenue and make both editorial and data-driven decisions based on your knowledge

  • Help develop editorial coverage, optimize user experience and revenue generation

  • Stay on top of emerging platforms, trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for category growth and partnerships

  • Ensure all content is brand-safe and meet internal guidelines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 4+ years of experience on a growth, audience or SEO team at a major publisher

  • Passionate about service journalism and delivering quality shopping content

  • Well-versed in using data and reporting tools to inform editorial ideas

  • Mastery of analytics platforms (Ex: Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Chartbeat, etc.) market research tools (Comscore, etc.) and data tools such as Excel

  • Experience with WordPress and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and others

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $92,000.00-102,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
