What is Watchdog

WatchDog is a peer-to-peer dog care exchange app: owners earn points by caring for pet dogs in their area, and can use their points to receive help from neighborhood dog owners in return… think Kindred home swapping for dog care. Launching in NYC with plans to rapidly expand across major pet-owning cities in the US and Canada. This is a paid contract-based role with extension to an ongoing role based on performance.

Who we are looking for:

• Highly personable, motivated, thrive in a fast pace startup environment
• Love dogs!
• Great at creating social media content, willing and eager to appear in content

Compensation:

There is a lot of fast growth opportunities in this role. If you finish your contract with 5k full paid members on the app, you will receive 20k compensation. If you do not achieve this milestone, we may extend the deadline an additional month, or compensate your time at 20$/hr. 5k users is a very feasible milestone to hit through the guidance of our founder and diligence towards the goal. We hope and will help you hit your goal.

If work is exemplary, you will then be trained to manage the launch of all major cities across USA and Canada as well as our growth channels, with a six figure base salary and/or co-ownership of the product.

The role:

You are responsible for launching Watchdog in our pilot city NYC/BK. This includes:

• Social media content creation and management
• Help in event planning
• In person promotion at dog parks and through posting posters
• Promoting in online forums such as FB groups, Instagram & Tiktok comments + DMs, Reddit threads
• Flexible to your unique ideas
