Who We Are

Tomo is a digital mortgage company on a mission to eliminate the greed and complexity in lending, helping homebuyers save thousands of dollars. Our AI-driven customer experience makes the lending process faster, less frustrating, and more affordable. By passing these savings directly to homebuyers, we eliminate excessive fees and inflated rates that cost Americans billions each year. Backed by top-tier venture investors, including Ribbit, Citi Ventures, NFX and Progressive Insurance, Tomo is poised to become one of the most valuable fintech startups of our generation.

About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager who thrives on rapid experimentation and data-driven decision making. You understand that great performance marketing is equal parts art and science—blending analytical rigor with creative intuition to build repeatable acquisition engines with strong unit economics.

You'll own the execution and optimization of our paid media channels, running rigorous test & control experiments to answer our highest-leverage growth questions. This is a highly analytical performance marketing role where you'll work directly with Product and Data Science teams to design experiments, iterate on creative strategies, and translate performance data into actionable insights that drive measurable customer acquisition and conversion.

What You'll Do

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

  • Manage campaign budgets, audience targeting, segmentation, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.

  • Monitor performance daily and make real-time adjustments to hit CPA, LTV:CAC, and other growth goals.

  • Provide tactical input and feedback to inform quarterly paid media roadmap and testing priorities.

Experimentation & Analytics

  • Own channel-specific growth KPIs (LTV:CAC, conversion rates, CAC by channel) and present clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership.

  • Design and execute rigorous test & control experiments to answer high-leverage growth questions.

  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing to continuously improve conversion rates and user acquisition funnels.

  • Track and analyze campaign metrics (CTR, CPC, LTV:CAC, conversions) and identify optimization opportunities.

Creative Strategy & Copywriting

  • Own creative ideation in alignment with macro growth strategy.

  • Brief performance creative assets for paid social campaigns.

  • Write and optimize performance copy for all paid campaigns and related landing pages.

  • Provide data-driven feedback on ad creative and continuously test new variations.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing Ads).

  • 3+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization.

  • Single-handedly managed at least $1M+ in ad spend with demonstrable efficiency and results.

  • Strong quantitative skills: A/B testing design, causal inference, cohort analysis, and tying growth targets to business metrics.

  • Proven performance copywriting skills for ad copy and landing pages.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with attribution platforms, data warehouses (Snowflake), and event instrumentation.

  • Experience collaborating with Product and Data Science teams to inform campaign strategy and measure marketing impact.

  • Experience in regulated or financial services / fintech.

  • Exposure to lifecycle marketing or retention campaigns.

Who You Are
  • Highly analytical and obsessed with achieving KPIs—you're "moderately data literate" at minimum.

  • Customer-obsessed. You want to get inside the head of our customers and create a frictionless experience from ad click to funded loan.

  • Tool-native. You move dexterously through core ad platforms and analytics tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, HubSpot, Amplitude, Snowflake).

  • Strong attention to detail—you've built your own QA systems to catch errors.

  • Excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts in accessible ways.

  • Creative and strategic thinker who pushes boundaries with out-of-the-box ideas.

  • Stay ahead of performance marketing trends, tools, and platform updates.

  • Ship high-frequency experiments and scale what works, while ruthlessly cutting what doesn't.

  • Understand how to make AI work for you to improve output quality and efficiency.

  • Collaborative team player who pitches in cross-functionally where expertise is needed.

Benefits

We strive to anticipate your needs in order for you to be a healthy, motivated, and happy team member. We provide a variety of competitive benefits including (but not limited to):

  • Equity Ownership: All teammates receive stock options—we win together

  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for you and your dependents with some plans 100% covered

  • Work-life balance and a generous paid time off policy

  • In order to support teammates who become parents, Tomo Mortgage provides paid parental leave

  • 401(k) retirement plan
