The Role
The Growth Partnerships Lead sits within Cash App's Growth organization and is responsible for identifying, building, and scaling partnerships that directly drive customer growth. You bring deep familiarity with the partnerships landscape and apply a growth-oriented approach to how partnerships are sourced, structured, activated, and evaluated.
You will own 3 core growth partnership surfaces:
  • Growth Integrations: Build new and deepen existing enterprise partnerships to make Cash App the best way to pay, get paid, and engage with some of the largest culturally relevant brands.
  • Episodic: Own our scaled episodic program across podcast reads and custom integrations, integrating authentically to shift brand perception and drive adoption.
  • Creator Partnerships: Lead creator partnerships and paid creator content strategies, building relationships with creators and platform partners, and driving measurable growth outcomes.

  • You Will
    • Identify new partners to pursue and build relationships with senior stakeholders at brands, platforms, and publishers that drive Cash App customer growth.
    • Partner closely with Sales to pitch, structure, and deepen enterprise partnerships, maximizing our network of merchants.
    • Own growth partnerships end to end, with accountability for strategy, deal structure & economics, launch, and ongoing performance.
    • Lead episodic and creator-led partnerships, including podcast reads and social integrations, with responsibility for efficiency, incrementality, and execution quality.
    • Define the measurement framework and learning agenda for growth partnerships, and work closely with Marketing Analytics to evaluate performance and continuously refine strategy and execution.

    You Have
    • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
    • Experience owning partnerships that directly supported customer acquisition, product adoption, or measurable growth outcomes.
    • A track record of sourcing, pitching, and launching partnerships with brands, platforms, publishers, or creators, from early relationship building through execution.
    • Experience owning episodic or content-driven growth programs, such as podcast advertising, custom integrations, or creator-led partnerships.
    • A strong understanding of communities and cultural contexts behind partner ecosystems, enabling customer-centric integrations that resonate and drive adoption.
    • Experience defining success metrics for partnerships and working with analytics teams to assess performance and inform optimization.

    Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
