About DiligenceSquared

DiligenceSquared is the AI-native consulting firm. We deliver investment-grade market research and commercial due diligence, powered by AI agents and led by experienced consultants. Our founding team brings deep experience from Blackstone and BCG, and we're backed by Y Combinator and Relentless. Our clients include 5 of the 10 largest private equity firms in the world and represent more than $3T in combined AUM.

The Role

We're looking for a GTM Associate to help DiligenceSquared win and grow relationships with leading private equity firms. You'll work directly with the founders and GTM leadership to create new opportunities, stay close to existing clients and expand from individual projects into broader relationships across funds.

This is not a conventional SDR role. You'll need to understand how PE deal teams work, recognize when a live deal creates a need for research or commercial diligence and hold credible conversations with sophisticated clients.

You may come from private equity, commercial due diligence, research, expert networks, investor relations or another client-facing role in private markets. Prior sales experience is helpful, but commercial drive, judgment and the desire to build a career in GTM matter more.

What You Will Do
  • Develop new relationships: Identify priority funds and deal teams, conduct thoughtful outreach and turn relevant conversations into qualified opportunities.

  • Expand existing accounts: Map relationships across sector teams, strategies and offices within the funds we serve and help earn introductions to new buyers.

  • Stay close to clients: Track client priorities, portfolio activity and live deal signals so DiligenceSquared is relevant and top of mind when a need emerges.

  • Support the sales process: Prepare for meetings, lead follow-up, coordinate proposals and keep opportunities moving from first conversation to signed engagement.

  • Build account plans: Maintain clear plans for priority accounts, including current relationships, whitespace, recent activity and next actions.

  • Partner with delivery: Learn from completed projects, understand what clients valued and bring the right consultants into substantive conversations.

  • Work with marketing: Help turn content, dinners, events and partnerships into the right client conversations and measurable pipeline.

  • Build the GTM engine: Keep CRM data sharp, test messaging and outreach approaches, and help develop the playbook as the team grows.

What We Are Looking For
  • Two to five years of experience: You have worked in private equity, commercial due diligence, strategy consulting, research, expert networks, investor relations or another relevant private-markets role.

  • Private equity fluency: You understand the pace, priorities and working style of deal teams and can quickly get smart on a fund, sector or transaction.

  • Commercial instinct: You enjoy building relationships, asking good questions, finding opportunities and moving conversations toward a clear next step.

  • Polished communication: You write clearly, prepare thoroughly and can represent DiligenceSquared credibly with senior investment professionals.

  • High initiative: You don't wait for a perfect brief. You identify what should happen next and take ownership of making it happen.

  • Persistent follow-through: You are organized, responsive and comfortable with the repetition and rejection that come with building pipeline.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented: You can research accounts, synthesize information and keep a complex set of relationships and opportunities organized.

  • Fluent with AI tools: You use AI as part of your everyday workflow and know how to use it to research, prepare and execute at a high level.

Experience That Would Be a Plus
  • Experience supporting or selling commercial due diligence, market research or expert-network services

  • Experience originating relationships, revenue or investment opportunities

  • An existing network across private equity deal teams

  • Previous startup experience

Why DiligenceSquared
  • Join the early GTM team at a YC-backed company with real revenue and strong client traction

  • Work directly with founders who bought this research at Blackstone and delivered it at BCG

  • Build relationships with some of the world's leading private equity firms

  • Learn both commercial strategy and the substance of commercial due diligence

  • Meaningful early-stage equity and a path to grow with the commercial organization

  • Intellectually demanding work across complex industries, sophisticated clients and high-stakes decisions

  • A small, senior team that enjoys working together, with regular offsites, team dinners and meals together at the office

  • Competitive compensation, high ownership and very little bureaucracy
