We've scaled to over $300B in assets under management in under 1.5 years, backed by $40M from Sequoia Capital, ICONIQ, and Ribbit. Go-to-market is now the critical lever for the next phase of our growth, and hiring is the bottleneck. We're looking for someone to fix that.

What You'll Do

Build and own the GTM hiring function at Nevis from the ground up, working directly with our CEO. There is no playbook here — you'll be writing it.

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for all commercial roles — sales, deployment strategists, customer success, and other GTM functions — from sourcing through offer and close.

  • Partner directly with Mark to define hiring plans and headcount priorities as we scale toward $1T+ in assets under management.

  • Build and run a sourcing engine capable of identifying and engaging top commercial talent from enterprise software, financial services, consulting, and high-growth startups.

  • Design and continuously improve the GTM interview process — scorecards, structured interviews, and candidate evaluation criteria — in partnership with hiring managers.

  • Act as the first impression of Nevis for every commercial candidate: represent the company's mission, culture, and opportunity with precision and credibility.

  • Manage the full candidate pipeline in Ashby, keeping data clean and hiring velocity high.

  • Build offer strategy and negotiate compensation in partnership with leadership.

  • Continuously refine sourcing channels, messaging, and process based on what's converting and what isn't.

  • Set the foundation for a scalable GTM recruiting function as headcount grows — this role will define how Nevis hires commercially for years to come.

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally with direct ownership of GTM, sales, or commercial hiring at a high-growth startup.

  • A track record of building recruiting functions or processes from scratch, not just operating inside an existing one.

  • Experience recruiting for enterprise sales, deployment/forward-deployed, or customer success roles — you know what good looks like in these profiles.

  • Excellent judgment on talent — you can assess commercial acumen, not just resume pattern-matching.

  • Strong communication skills; you'll be the face of Nevis to every commercial candidate.

  • Comfortable working directly with a CEO/founder with high standards and a fast pace.

  • Based in or willing to be based in New York.

Nice to Have
  • Experience recruiting in fintech, wealth management, or financial services.

  • Familiarity with Ashby or similar modern ATS platforms.

  • Existing network in enterprise software or financial services sales talent.
