medical care and patient education.This holds responsibly for delivering comprehensive gynecological
care to patients in an outpatient setting, including preventive services,
evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
The physician will work collaboratively with clinical
staff and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and positive
patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Doctor
of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Active
New York State Medical License
- Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- DEA
registration required
- Strong
interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability
to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Experience
with EMR systems preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide
routine and comprehensive gynecological examinations and evaluations
- Diagnose
and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
- Perform
Pap smears, pelvic exams, breast exams, biopsies, and minor in-office
procedures
- Provide
contraception counseling and family planning services
- Manage
menopausal care, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and reproductive health
concerns
- Order
and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Educate
patients regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and overall wellness
- Collaborate
with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient
care
- Maintain
accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
- Participate
in quality assurance and compliance initiatives
- Ensure
adherence to organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and clinical
guidelines
