About IBBX:
IBBX Wireless Energy is at the forefront of developing breakthrough technology that delivers wireless electricity. The company has created and patented protocols that allow energy harvesting from electromagnetic waves; IBBX also produces an integrated circuit that executes such harvesting. It is the first real step into eliminating cables and vastly reducing battery sizes in electronic devices.

With a current team of 70 dedicated professionals, IBBX is in a phase of rapid growth, experiencing significant year-over-year expansion. Our culture is grounded in values of efficiency, respect, and diversity, and we are on a mission to attract, develop, and retain world-class talent aligned with our vision of creating impactful and world-changing innovations.

The first adopters of our technology are industries that rely on predictive maintenance of their production parks.

Our first product is the IBBX Retina Suite for industry 4.0, a set of sensors that feed from the machine’s (wasted) electromagnetic energy, and they just work – no cable, no battery replacement. They also happen to speak a proprietary wireless data protocol that is optimized for long distances, ideal for large industrial and agricultural environments. It may seem a bit too techie, we know, but all this is to explain why our Retina Suite has a line of clients waiting to acquire it, an example of how successful we can be in the near future.

Role Overview:

IBBX is looking for an Electronics Engineer, to focus on emerging technologies such as Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) and Energy Harvesting (EH). In this role, you will be responsible for developing efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective systems applicable to IoT devices, wearables, and other small electronics. You will apply your expertise in power electronics, radio frequency, electromagnetic radiation, circuits, and energy transmission systems to integrate wireless energy solutions into large-scale projects. Your work will focus on creating products and systems that eliminate the need for constant recharging, optimizing energy efficiency, and driving innovation across various technological sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development of Wireless Energy Solutions:

  • Lead the development of Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) and Energy Harvesting (EH) systems for a range of applications, including IoT devices, wearables, and connected technologies.

  • Design energy-efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that are scalable for large networks of connected devices.

2. Expertise in Power Electronics and Electromagnetism:

  • Leverage deep knowledge of power electronics, electromagnetic radiation, and energy transmission circuits to develop high-performance solutions.

  • Work on the design and optimization of circuits and systems that enable efficient energy transfer without the need for wired connections.

3. System Integration and Optimization:

  • Ensure the successful integration of wireless energy solutions into systems, aligning with project requirements and client expectations.

  • Optimize system performance to maximize efficiency and reliability in diverse technological environments.

4. Innovation and Sustainable Technologies:

  • Drive innovation by applying emerging wireless energy technologies to create advanced solutions that reduce operational costs and increase the sustainability of connected systems.

  • Focus on improving energy efficiency and creating systems that are adaptable across various sectors, promoting innovation and reducing environmental impact.

Qualifications:
  • Real interest in wireless energy technologies, including Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) and Energy Harvesting (EH).

  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, electromagnetic theory, and energy transmission circuits.

  • Experience in developing hardware for IoT devices, wearables, and other connected technologies.

  • Ability to drive innovation and create scalable, sustainable solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing energy efficiency.

Why Join IBBX?

At IBBX, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of wireless energy technology. Our innovative and dynamic environment fosters creativity and professional growth while working on cutting-edge projects that aim to shape the future of connected systems. If you are passionate about wireless energy and want to make a significant impact, IBBX is the ideal place for you.
