About hyperexponential (hx)

At hyperexponential, we're building the AI-powered platform that enables the world's most critical decisions in a $7 trillion industry: which risks to take, and how to price them. These are the decisions that shape real-world outcomes: whether rockets successfully launch into space, autonomous vehicles make it to market, or communities recover after major storms.

Until now, insurance has been making billion-dollar decisions using outdated tools. We're changing that. Our platform brings together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision. We help them move faster, act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence.

Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we're scaling globally. We are already trusted by nearly 50 of the world's largest insurers, with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx.

What began as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core of what we do, from building the world's first domain-specific AI peer programmer for insurance (think GitHub Copilot with a PhD in actuarial science) to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent how this industry operates.

What makes hx different is the people who build it. Here, impact isn't tied to title or tenure. It's defined by the challenges you take on and the discipline you bring. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you'll do the best, hardest work of your life in a company built to endure.

If that sounds like you, join us in building what comes next.

About the team

The US Revenue team is at the forefront of hx’s expansion into the Admitted insurance market, driving growth and shaping our presence in a $7 trillion industry. As a key part of the US Leadership Team, the group is responsible for setting the pace and direction of our US business, building strong relationships with executive stakeholders, and ensuring our solutions are recognized as market-leading.

Collaboration and high performance are at the heart of the team’s culture. Team members work closely across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer functions, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to achieve ambitious goals. The environment is fast-paced, impact-driven, and focused on measurable outcomes.

This role is pivotal in leading our US Admitted market strategy, acting as a thought leader, spokesperson, and advisor. You’ll play a central role in driving revenue, enabling the team, and ensuring hx’s continued success and reputation as an industry innovator.

What you’ll be doing
  • Establish and refine team operating rhythms to drive a focused, high-impact approach to US Admitted market expansion.

  • Oversee and influence all aspects of product positioning, sales, customer engagement, and marketing to ensure hx delivers a product that is 10x better than alternatives.

  • Drive early revenue growth by leveraging your network to open doors and build strong relationships with executive stakeholders across the US insurance market.

  • Partner with marketing to set sales and brand positioning, while establishing yourself as a key hx spokesperson in the market.

  • Facilitate learning workshops and upskill Account Executives (AEs) in US market dynamics, personas, and pain points, ensuring the team is equipped to win.

  • Work closely with AEs on opportunities, bridging market knowledge and customer needs to hx solutions, and scaling go-to-market effectiveness.

What you’ll need to have done
  • Led the build or distribution of high-touch underwriting commercial P&C products in the admitted market, delivering measurable business impact.

  • Built and leveraged a strong industry network to accelerate onboarding and market expansion.

  • Managed and scaled high-performing teams, acting as a GM or equivalent for a market-focused business unit.

  • Demonstrated the ability to hire, develop, and lead actuarial or technical teams within a commercial insurance context.

  • Delivered commercial outcomes through strong communication, presentation, and value articulation with clients and internal teams.

  • Proactively driven projects forward, overcoming obstacles and enabling positive change in a complex, fast-moving industry.

You’re unlikely to thrive here if
  • You prefer to work in silos rather than collaborating across teams and functions.

  • You are uncomfortable with ambiguity or reluctant to take ownership for driving outcomes.

  • You are satisfied with the status quo and not motivated to challenge industry norms.

If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energised, hx may not be the place where you'll do your best work. We're building something that asks for commitment and conviction, and we want you to feel excited by the opportunity to grow with us.
