At General Intelligence, we're building highly-capable autonomous agents for startups. Our goal is to enable the one-person, one-billion-dollar company.
Our Head of Agentic Marketing will own demand generation and brand for Cofounder: building a community, cultivating organic engagement, and making sure the right people know we exist and want to talk to us.
You'll also work closely with engineering to turn what works into agents. When a content workflow performs, you'll spec it out with engineers and watch it become something our agents can run autonomously for customers.
This role is for someone with an audience of their own. You've gone viral before because you understood what would land before you posted it. You're online constantly and it shapes how you think. You have genuine taste in what makes content work, and people follow you because of it.
What you'll doBuild the content and distribution engine: editorial, SEO, social, newsletters, whatever actually moves the needle.
Run growth experiments end-to-end.
Own brand voice and positioning. Our brand has unique values (and high aura). You’ll craft the mission and voice into content that resonates across channels.
Own what gets posted and what doesn't. When something interesting happens at the company, you're already drafting the post. Nobody assigns you a story.
Engage with our engineering team to build best-in-class agents for marketing for our users.
You've gone viral. Not once by accident, but repeatedly, because you have a feel for what lands before anyone else does.
You have genuine taste. Cofounder's brand matters and generic SaaS marketing language is not going to work.
You ran the whole thing, not just one channel someone handed you.
You shipped without waiting for approval, a brief, or a committee.
You are familiar with agents.
You are are chronically, terminally online.
You have aura. If you don’t know what this means, its not a fit.
In-person only in New York. You'll be in the room with founders daily.
High agency. We hire smart people and get out of their way.
Outcomes over inputs. You're not measured on hours or activity; you're measured on what unblocks and moves forward.
Direct feedback. You'll hear what's working and what's not; same applies in reverse.
Ship fast, iterate daily. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
Real leverage. Your impact compounds across the entire company.
No bureaucracy. You'll be frustrated by red tape everywhere else after working here.
Small, elite team. You work directly with founders and the best engineers building agents.
Craft matters. Speed is key, but sloppiness isn't tolerated.
In person, in New York City.
