The Head of Brand & Content will define and amplify the brand voice, manage content production across channels, and collaborate closely with the CEO on public communications.
The summary above was generated by AI
Doing product research online feels harder than ever. AI promised better information. Instead it flooded the web with hallucinations, generated content, and confident-sounding answers that have no idea what's true.

Product.ai is building the truth engine for shopping. When every other AI tool summarizes and guesses, we verify. Not opinions. Not averages. Ground truth.

Self-funded and profitable for over a decade, we're a team of e-commerce veterans who have been building commerce truth systems at scale. Over a billion dollars in annual transaction volume. Millions of customers served. Product.ai is our flagship - the new starting point for shopping in the AI era. We're in early alpha, building alongside our community of domain experts.

We have a company that's years ahead of how the world perceives it. We've built the product, the revenue, the strategy, and the technology. What's missing is the voice. We're hiring a Head of Brand & Content to own how Product.ai shows up to the world - across social channels, in the CEO's public writing, and in every piece of content that carries our name. This is not a marketing role. This is brand ownership. You'll be the person who turns what we build into what people see, hear, and share.

Based in Santa Monica. In-office five days a week. You can't tell the story of something you're not close to.

What You Will Build

  • CEO voice amplification. The CEO has original thinking on AI, commerce, and company-building that lives in his head. Your job is to get it into the world. Ghostwrite when needed. Edit and shape when he drafts. The best version of this is a creative partnership where rough ideas go in and finished pieces come out that he's proud to put his name on.
  • Brand positioning and narrative. Own the story of what Product.ai is and why it matters. Not a tagline exercise - a sustained narrative that runs through everything from a tweet to a case study to how we describe ourselves to candidates. You'll own verbal identity and positioning while our Associate Creative Director owns visual identity.
  • Content production engine. Build the system that turns company activity into published content. Product demos become posts. Strategy conversations become threads. Research becomes case studies. Two or more pieces per week, consistently. AI handles the mechanical parts. You handle what's worth saying and how to say it.
  • Social presence across every channel. Own Product.ai's voice on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and TikTok. Not posting links and hoping. Building a following because the content is worth people's time. You'll develop channel strategy, build the calendar, and ship the posts yourself.

Who You Are

  • You build brand voice and you absorb other people's. You've defined how a company shows up in the world - the voice, the positioning, the editorial strategy. You've also ghostwritten for a founder or executive, and the person you wrote for was surprised at how well you captured their thinking. Most content people write in their own voice and call it ghostwriting. You write in someone else's voice and they can't tell the difference.
  • You are a social media native with channel expertise. You understand what works on X versus LinkedIn versus TikTok versus YouTube. You've built a following or grown an account and you can explain exactly what you did and why it worked. You have opinions about cadence, engagement patterns, and formats.
  • You are AI-native in your production workflow. You use AI tools to multiply your output without flattening your taste. You know the difference between AI-generated content that feels generic and AI-assisted content that feels human. Human intention plus AI execution - you're already fluent in both.
  • You have taste and you can defend it. You know the difference between content that lands and content that disappears. You can explain your taste in terms of mechanics - structure, pacing, voice, specificity - not just preference.
  • You ship volume without losing the thread. You produce multiple pieces per week across formats. Consistency matters more than perfection. You maintain voice across high-volume output because the voice lives in your instincts, not in a checklist.

Ownership

We operate as a high-performance studio, not a typical corporation. Every builder at Product.ai is a partner, not an employee collecting a paycheck.

  • Base: $200,000 - $250,000. Top of market. Your base covers your life; your ownership builds your freedom.
  • Equity: You receive a formal ownership stake via Profits Interest Units (PIUs) - Class B Membership Interests with a $0 strike price. Not options. Not RSUs. Actual ownership that participates in the upside from day one and qualifies for Capital Gains tax treatment.
  • Profit Sharing: You participate in the company's annual success. As an equity holder, you receive a pro-rata share of Free Cash Flow (FCF) - real cash, every year, not a promise tied to a future exit.
  • Liquidity: We operate an Annual Tender Offer where the company buys back vested interests at fair market value. You can turn ownership into cash every year. No waiting for an IPO. No hoping for an acquisition.
  • Benefits: 100% premium coverage for you and your family, daily catered lunches, and unlimited PTO that we actually expect you to use.

How to Apply

We skip the 60-minute recruiter screen. Instead, you'll answer a few short video questions so we can get to know how you think and work. Less time than a phone screen, and you can do it whenever works for you.

We're not looking for polished presentations. We're looking for signal on who you are.
