Lead the transformation of Miro's operating systems, embedding engineering teams in business functions to drive AI integration and automation.

About the Team
Business Technology at Miro is an organization of engineers, product managers, architects, and analysts who own the systems behind every business function. Today the team delivers end-to-end business process automation across GTM and corporate operations. Where we're headed is different: we are restructuring around a forward-deployed model – embedding squads directly inside the functions they serve so they can be proactive builders who see the problem up close and ship the solution in context. You will lead that transformation.

About the Role
We are looking for a builder — someone who sees a messy, high-stakes systems landscape and gets excited about redesigning it from the ground up. This role owns the operating systems that power how Miro goes to market and how Miro runs as a company. You will lead a combined engineering, product management, and program management organization spanning GTM Systems & Technology and Company OS & Technology.
The model is forward-deployed engineering. Your teams won't build from a distance—they will embed directly inside GTM and corporate functions, learn the workflows firsthand, and automate them in context. The goal is not to hand off requirements to a backlog. It's to put engineers close enough to the work that they can see what to build next before anyone writes a ticket.
Miro is becoming an AI-first company. This role is at the center of that transformation. You will make the tooling, architecture, and platform decisions that determine how fast we can embed AI into every workflow — from revenue operations to internal productivity. If you believe the best operating systems are products, not projects, this is your job.

Why this matters:
The person in this role will shape how 1,800+ Mironeers work every day and how our GTM engine operates at scale. The decisions you make here compound — the right architecture, the right AI bets, the right team culture will accelerate everything Miro does. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-from-scratch, move-fast, high-autonomy leadership position.
What you’ll do
  • GTM Systems & Technology. The full stack behind Sales & Success, Marketing Operations, and Revenue Architecture—Salesforce, Marketo, data pipelines, and the AI-powered GTM copilot we are building in-house
  • Company OS & Technology. The internal operating system that connects every Mironeer to the tools, agents, and knowledge they need — including our Claude-based agent platform, identity systems, and enterprise tooling (Workday, Slack, etc.)
  • AI enablement. You own the tooling decisions that determine whether Miro ships AI internally at startup speed or enterprise speed. We want startup speed
  • Team. A combined organization of 45 engineers, product managers, and program managers across both pillars — structured as forward-deployed squads embedded in GTM and corporate functions
What you’ll need
  • Technical depth and product sense — you can go deep on architecture decisions and come back up to frame them as product strategy
  • A builder who inspires. You have shipped systems that teams talk about years later. You can paint a picture of what "great" looks like and pull people toward it
  • Experience running a forward-deployed or embedded engineering model — you know how to place engineers inside business functions, maintain engineering quality without central gravity, and rotate teams across domains without losing context
  • Change leadership at scale. You have led organizations through significant transformation — new tooling, new processes, new ways of working — and you brought people with you
  • Experience leading 40–50+ people across engineering, product, and program management
  • A bias toward action. We are moving fast and need someone who makes decisions with 70% of the information and iterates
  • Deep conviction that AI changes everything about how internal systems should be designed and operated
What's in it for you

We want you to feel supported, connected, and ready to grow. Our global benefits package generally includes equity, a wellbeing benefit, a WFH equipment allowance, and an annual Learning & Development stipend. Join a diverse team where you can do your best work. Full benefits may differ per location. If you would like to learn more about location-specific benefits, please refer to our Global Miro benefits board.
