Lead development and execution of a co-investment capital program: originate and close third-party private capital, manage family office and allocator relationships, run deal-by-deal syndications, coordinate investor reporting and communications, establish institutional processes, and work with internal teams to preserve Sinclairs underwriting discipline and transact at deal speed.

Sinclair Ventures is seeking an experienced private capital executive to build and lead its Capital Partnerships function. The role will develop and manage a durable network of family offices and institutional allocators capable of investing alongside Sinclair in selected lower- and middle-market private equity transactions.

Sinclair invests permanent capital and maintains full discretion over when and where it invests. Accordingly, the Capital Partnerships function is designed to support attractive Sinclair-led opportunities - not to create pressure to deploy capital. The successful candidate will combine senior allocator relationships, strong private equity fluency, and the ability to execute co-investment processes quickly, credibly, and with a long-term relationship orientation.

The Executive We Are Looking For

· Established allocator relationships: Deep, senior-level relationships with family office principals, CIOs, and private capital allocators, supported by a demonstrable record of converting relationships into repeat investment commitments.

· Record of closed capital: Meaningful experience personally originating and closing third-party private capital, with clear attribution to commitments raised, investor relationships, and repeat participation.

· Relationship-driven approach: Builds trust through credibility, responsiveness, discretion, candor, and consistent follow-through. Success is defined by the quality and durability of the partner base, not simply aggregate dollars raised.

· Private equity fluency: Strong command of underwriting, capital structures, downside cases, co-investment economics, governance rights, allocations, vehicle structures, data rooms, and closing logistics.

· Executive communication: Able to translate Sinclair's investment strategy and transaction-specific underwriting into clear, compelling materials and conversations for sophisticated family offices and investment committees.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Partnerships Strategy

· Design and execute Sinclair Ventures' co-investment capital program, including target investor universe, coverage model, allocation framework, standard terms, and partner segmentation.

· Build and maintain a pre-qualified roster of family offices and allocators with known check sizes, sector preferences, governance requirements, and decision timelines.

· Develop a repeat partner base capable of investing at meaningful scale alongside Sinclair when a transaction meets the firm's underwriting standards.

· Ensure capital formation remains subordinate to Sinclair's investment discipline; support transactions that meet Sinclair's return and risk parameters rather than create pressure to deploy capital.

Deal-by-Deal Syndication

· Partner with the investment team during diligence to shape each co-investment offering, including sizing, structure, economics, target partners, and timing.

· Lead each syndication process from initial outreach through signed commitments and funding, coordinating materials, data room access, diligence questions, allocations, documentation, and closing logistics.

· Work with counsel and the deal team to negotiate co-investor terms, governance rights, and vehicle mechanics while preserving Sinclair's control of the investment process.

· Maintain the ability to move at deal speed while protecting long-term partner relationships and communicating allocations with transparency and consistency.

Investor Relations & Partner Management

· Serve as the primary ongoing relationship lead for capital partners, coordinating reporting, valuations, distributions, capital calls, and periodic portfolio updates on an institutional-quality cadence.

· Own Sinclair Ventures' capital-partner narrative and external materials, ensuring that messaging accurately reflects the firm's patient-capital strategy, underwriting discipline, and meaningful sponsor capital commitment.

· Represent Sinclair Ventures with family offices and allocators through targeted meetings, relevant industry forums, and Sinclair-hosted partner events.

· Track partner engagement, preferences, participation history, responsiveness, and relationship health to improve future transaction execution.

Internal Partnership & Firm Building

· Work closely with Sinclair's CEO, Executive Vice Chairman, Managing Director, investment team, finance, legal, and tax functions on capital planning and transaction execution.

· Establish institutional-quality processes, systems, and reporting for investor coverage, commitments, allocations, and partner communications.

· Provide market feedback to the investment team without allowing external investor appetite to influence Sinclair's core underwriting standards or deployment decisions.

· Help build a long-term capital partnerships capability that enhances Sinclair's flexibility, transaction capacity, and ability to support larger or more complex opportunities.

Qualifications

· 10+ years of experience in capital formation, private capital coverage, placement, investor relations, or a comparable role within private equity, investment banking, or an institutional investment platform.

· Deep, referenceable relationships with family office principals, CIOs, and private market allocators, with an attributable record of third-party capital closed and repeat participation.

· Strong command of private equity underwriting, transaction structures, co-investment economics, governance terms, and special-purpose or aggregator vehicles.

· Demonstrated ability to run time-sensitive deal-by-deal capital processes from investor targeting through funding.

· Exceptional interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, with credibility across family principals, investment committees, bankers, lawyers, and deal professionals.

· High integrity, discretion, sound judgment, and a long-term relationship orientation.

· Willingness to travel extensively for investor coverage and relationship development.

· Bachelor's degree required; M.B.A. or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $275,000 to $400,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based annual incentive and long-term incentives. Performance will reflect successful capital formation, transaction execution, partner retention, repeat participation, and the development of a durable co-investment network - not simply aggregate dollars raised.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.

Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by virtue of an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
