About Rimes

Rimes provides the Intelligence Fabric for Capital Markets, a trusted data network and intelligence architecture that transforms fragmented data, operations and workflows into decision-grade intelligence. The world’s leading institutional investors, asset managers, and service providers rely on Rimes to help them make better investment decisions that power more than US$ 75 trillion in AUM annually.

The Opportunity

Rimes has built a strong partner ecosystem across three pillars: Consultants and Capability Partners. The framework is in place, and the partner relationships are live. What we are missing is the commercial activation layer: the person who turns partner potential into pipeline, ACV, and new logos.

This role was created to solve a specific problem: we have many different partnerships, but we are not consistently monetizing them. That changes with this hire.

You will sit alongside our Head of Strategic Partnerships, who owns the strategic and technical dimensions of the ecosystem. Your lane is commercial: pipeline creation, co-sell execution, ACV impact, and building a repeatable partner GTM motion that scales.

What You'll Own

Commercial Activation of the Partner Ecosystem

  • Own the commercial outcomes across Rimes' Consultant, Distribution, and Capability partner pillars.
  • Define and execute joint GTM motions that generate qualified pipeline, not just partner activity.
  • Drive co-sell, sell-through, and referral models with tangible ACV and new logo targets.
  • Build a partner revenue attribution model that makes the ROI of every partnership visible.

Pipeline & Revenue Impact

  • Joint account planning and territory mapping with Rimes Sales and partner field teams.
  • Direct participation in enterprise deal cycles where partners are involved or should be.
  • Own partner-influenced pipeline as a tracked, reported, forecasted number, not an anecdote.
  • Establish escalation paths between Rimes Sales and partner orgs to unblock deals.

Partner Relationship Management (Commercial Layer)

  • Build and own executive-level relationships with sales, alliances, and business development leaders inside partner orgs.
  • Serve as the commercial counterpart to our Head of Strategic Partnerships, they owns the relationship depth; you own the revenue outcomes.
  • Negotiate and structure commercial terms, referral agreements, and co-sell frameworks.

Field Enablement & Sales Alignment

  • Enable Rimes Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Client Strategy teams to sell effectively with and through partners.
  • Equip the field with partner value propositions, use cases, target client profiles, and competitive positioning.
  • Run a consistent co-sell operating cadence, QBRs, joint pipeline reviews, partner-led intro processes.

Operating Rhythm & Reporting

  • Own the partner commercial operating cadence: pipeline reviews, QBRs, executive updates.
  • Report to CRO on partner-attributed pipeline, influenced ACV, closed-won partner deals, and partner activity metrics.

Coordinate across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to keep commercial momentum high and friction low.

Who You Are

The right candidate has been in a room where a partnership deal should have turned into a sales opportunity, and made it happen. You understand how to navigate partner organizations, align incentives, build joint plans, and follow through on co-sell execution. You are not a relationship manager; you are a commercial operator who happens to work through partners.

Required

  • 12+ years in alliances, channel sales, strategic partnerships, or enterprise business development in SaaS, data, or financial technology.
  • Measurable track record: deals closed, pipeline generated, and ACV delivered through partner channels, not just partner relationships maintained.
  • Experience working with consulting firms, system integrators, and/or technology platform partners in a commercial capacity.
  • Strong enterprise sales instincts, you can read a deal, qualify pipeline, and know when to push and when to wait.
  • Comfortable operating as a player-coach: you build the motion and run it yourself before scaling it.
  • Exceptional cross-functional influence, you will need to align Sales, Product, Marketing, and partner orgs simultaneously.
  • Data-driven: pipeline, coverage ratios, partner-attributed ACV, and partner activity metrics are your working language.

Nice to Have

  • Background in investment data, reference data, EDM, or managed data services.
  • Prior experience at a financial data or analytics vendor (e.g., FactSet, MSCI, Bloomberg, SS&C, SimCorp).
  • Deep relationships within Tier 1 consulting firms (Big 4, Oliver Wyman, Mercer, WTW) or distribution platforms active in asset management.
  • Experience inside a PE-backed, growth-stage software or data company.

Why This Role

  • High-visibility seat reporting directly to the CRO, this role shapes Rimes' commercial trajectory.
  • Peer structure with our Head of Strategic Partnerships means you own a distinct lane with real accountability.
  • Rimes is at an inflection point: the strategy is defined, the partnerships are live, the category is hot. What we need is execution.
  • PE-backed environment with clear growth targets, partnership revenue isn't a nice-to-have; it's a strategic priority.
  • Work with some of the most sophisticated investors and data-intensive institutions in the world.

The anticipated base salary range for this position in New York is $230,000 - $280,000 annually.
