Your mission
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Content / Creative Director who sets the creative vision and content strategy that bring moments to L1VE across L1VE immersive experiences, episodic and linear series, and emerging formats. This role ensures every experience is emotionally compelling, editorially intentional, and worthy of presence, whether it unfolds in real time or over time.

This role will set the creative content direction for L1VE’s most important experiences – shaping creative arc & vision, narrative structure and tone pacing across both L1VE moments, shoulder programming and series-based content.
You set the creative bar and ensure execution aligns to it.

Your Tasks

Creative Vision & Network Strategy
* Define the creative & editorial north star across live immersive events, linear programming, and episodic series
* Establish L1VE’s creative point of view & programming philosophy as a network
* Ensure content across formats reinforces presence, emotion & authenticity
Showrunning & Experience Direction
* Ensure continuity & intention from pre-production through L1VE execution, episodic release & post-event reflection
Content Strategy by Vertical & Format
* Lead content strategy across priority verticals (e.g., sports, music, brand partnerships, L1VE shopping, etc.)
* Define how L1VE moments & serialized content work together to: build anticipation, extend engagement, create repeat viewing behavior
* Balance experimentation with scalable, repeatable formats.
Programming & Scheduling
* Shape a programming strategy that blends: tentpole L1VE moments, shoulder programming, episodic and linear series, create cadence and rhythm that feel intentional, partner with Product and Growth to align programming with habit formation.
Creative Leadership & Team Development
* Lead and grow a multidisciplinary content and creative team.
* Set clear editorial standards across L1VE and serialized content.
* Foster a culture of taste, craft, experimentation, and learning.
Partner, Talent & Creator Collaboration
* Collaborate with rights holders, creators, talent, and brand partners to co-create immersive and serialized experiences.
* Translate partner goals into programming that feels premium and authentic.
* Serve as the creative counterpart to Commercial, Product, UX, and Production leadership.
Learning & Evolution
* Use qualitative and quantitative signals to refine programming and creative direction.
* Identify which formats drive emotional resonance, habit, and partner confidence.
What Success Looks Like
* L1VE develops a recognizable creative identity as a new kind of network, not just a destination.
* L1VE immersive experiences and series reinforce each other.
* Programming creates anticipation, cadence, and habit.
* Partners trust L1VE to steward their moments creatively.
* Audiences return because they know what’s coming next and why it matters.

Your profile
ARE YOU a creative leader (5+ years in a senior role) with strong editorial instincts & a network-level mindset? Fluent in L1VE (experience in AR/VR, 3D interactive development, 360-degree video, or high-end spatial) storytelling, programming & audience behavior? Comfortable showrunning across formats & leading through ambiguity? Equally credible with creators, executives & operators and able to balance creative ambition with operational reality?
Then become part of our team and shape the technological future of immersive media with us - we look forward to receiving your application!
Why us?
The salary for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000 USD per year (actual salary will be determined in part by experience and geographic location).
We're based in lower Manhattan and Berlin. This role is hybrid. Specific in-office days and/or travel will be discussed during the interview process with flexibility to align with team needs.
