Head of Content

As Head of Content at vCluster Labs, you aren’t just publishing blog posts; you are owning the content engine that puts vCluster Labs in front of the technical leaders building and running AI infrastructure. As we build out our demand generation function, you’ll create the steady stream of content that powers our campaigns, from search and AI answer engine visibility to webinars and flagship research. This is a strategy and execution role: you’ll write, direct others’ writing, and own content’s impact on pipeline. You’ll sit between Product Marketing and Demand Gen, turning our core themes into a content program that reaches and influences our buyers.

As Head of Content, your role will include:

• Content Strategy & Editorial Calendar: Own the content process from strategy to execution. You’ll take the core themes from Product Marketing and turn them into an editorial calendar that supports our campaigns, deciding what gets built, when, and by whom.

• Writing & Orchestration: Write high-impact content yourself and direct contributions from Product Marketing, DevRel, and subject matter experts across our Solutions Engineering and Product teams. You’ll piece it all together into one coherent story and partner with Social to get it in front of the right audience.

• Search & AI Answer Engines: Build our SEO and AEO practice from the ground up so vCluster Labs ranks for the searches and AI prompts our buyers care about. You’ll start with an audit of where we stand and a prioritized plan to grow organic and AI referral traffic.

• Thought Leadership Programs: Lead our big content initiatives, including an annual industry research report, executive bylines and points of view that speak to infrastructure and AI leaders.

• Campaign & Pipeline Content: Partner with Demand Gen and our field and account-based marketing teams to deliver the assets their programs need, including a monthly webinar, customer stories, and content tailored to the accounts we’re targeting.

• Measurement: Set baselines and targets for organic, AI referral and conversion metrics, and report how content influences pipeline.

This role could be a fit for you if you bring:

• Content Strategy Experience: 7+ years in B2B marketing with a track record of owning content strategy and an editorial calendar for technical products. We’re open on background: content marketing, product marketing and DevRel paths all fit.

• Writing Craft: You write content that lands with technical buyers, and you can interview an engineer and turn it into a piece a CTO forwards. You’re a strategist who writes, not just an editor or copywriter.

• Pipeline Impact: Content you’ve built that measurably drove pipeline, plus experience supporting demand gen, field or account-based programs.

• Search Expertise: Hands-on SEO experience, a working point of view on AEO and generative search, and fluency with tools like GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush.

• AI-Native Content Production: You use AI tools such as Claude to research, draft and repurpose at a high bar, and you know how to verify every technical claim before it ships.

• Infrastructure Fluency: Experience in cloud, infrastructure or adjacent technical markets, or the ability to quickly learn and articulate our space.

Bonus points for:

• AI & Developer Markets: Experience in AI infrastructure, open source or developer tools.

• Research & Analyst Relations: Experience producing research reports or working with industry analysts and PR.

• Executive Voice: A track record of executive ghostwriting and media placement.
