Job DescriptionAbout Us

We are fixing US healthcare by building an AI-native physical care platform, starting with home health.

Home health is a $140B industry with less than $10B in EBITDA — 40% of revenue is spent on pure administrative waste. We automate this work with AI, creating a fundamentally different cost structure compared to incumbents. This lets us rapidly take market share by serving the 30% of patients who go untreated today.

By reshaping the cost structure of this industry, we unlock its growth.

We've built one of the best AI teams in the world (from Character AI, Scale, Palantir, Citadel, Jane Street) and paired them with a team of healthcare veterans to build a new type of healthcare company: one that delivers care at the speed of an AI company.

Our physical care platform already operates with 30pp higher gross margins than traditional home health providers. With our AI advantage, we pay nurses more, remove their admin burden, and unlock the scale economics that have been missing from this fragmented industry. If we served this entire $140B market, instead of $10B in EBITDA, we'd drive $60B.

We're starting with home health, then expanding to all delivered care. Our mission is "any care, any where".

Fundamentally, our incentives are aligned with America. Every dollar in revenue we make is two dollars taken out of the healthcare system. If we succeed, so does US healthcare.

What you’ll do

As Head of Corporate Finance, reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own how Adaptive plans, forecasts, and measures financial performance. You will be the Leadership Team’s closest partner and a visible presence with the board and investors. Starting as a hands-on individual contributor, you will build the models, systems, and team that support our next stage of growth.

  • Own the integrated three-statement operating model, annual budget, monthly rolling forecast, and three-to-five-year long-range plan.

  • Make the financial plan the single source of truth for leadership, the board, and investors.

  • Run monthly business reviews covering actuals versus plan, variance drivers, revised outlook, and recommended decisions.

  • Partner with every business leader on headcount planning, unit economics, customer and cohort profitability, and ROI.

  • Lead board and investor materials, fundraising models, lender reporting, and scenario analysis for pricing, capital allocation, fundraising, and M&A.

  • Design and implement a planning stack beyond Excel using our proprietary platform and internal AI tools; oversee data pipelines from ERP, billing, and internal systems.

  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing FP&A team as the company grows.

Success means leadership trusts the model, understands what drives performance, and uses clear financial analysis to make and follow through on decisions.

Basic qualifications
  • 6+ years in finance, including 2+ years in investment banking and/or private equity.

  • 2+ years in an operating-company FP&A or strategic finance role, including end-to-end ownership of the company-level plan and forecast.

  • Expert financial modeling skills, with the ability to build integrated, auditable models and explain key assumptions and sensitivities.

  • Experience supporting a board of directors and institutional investors.

  • Ability to identify variance drivers and translate financial analysis into practical business recommendations.

  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.

  • Demonstrated ownership of financial deliverables and accountability for their accuracy and timely completion.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience at a high-growth company through a financing, sale, or other capital event, in a role that shaped the outcome.

  • Experience on both sides of a transaction: as an investor or banker and as an operator responsible for delivering the plan afterward.

  • Experience building planning systems, automating finance workflows, or applying AI to financial analysis with appropriate validation.

  • Experience building or developing an FP&A team.

What we offer
  • Competitive salary and equity compensation

  • Comprehensive health insurance, dental, and commuter benefits

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution

  • Flexible time off policy — we expect most employees to take at least 3 weeks of vacation per year

  • In-office lunches, dinners, and snacks to fuel your focus and well-being

  • Opportunity for growth in a fast-growing company

  • Collaborative team valuing innovation and problem-solving
