Since 2017, Flourish has been on a mission to help financial advisors evolve from holistic advice to holistic implementation to more fully serve their clients and achieve better outcomes. We focus on independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), delivering financial products that advisors can’t easily access today through beautiful, scalable, and easy-to-use technology.

Today, we work with over 1,000 RIAs that collectively represent more than $2.6T in assets under management across two products — Flourish Annuities and Flourish Cash — and with our recent acquisition of Sora Finance, we’ll be adding a lending offering in 2026. Headquartered in New York City, we are an independently-operating, wholly-owned subsidiary of MassMutual Life Insurance Company.

About You

You are first and foremost a data-focused leader who enjoys both digging into the details and stepping back to look at overall systems with an eye for growth. You have a vision and want to build and own the data function for the marketing team, leading the initiative for the group from basic visibility to growth engine. You see yourself as a go-to person who loves proactively asking big questions and diving into the answers. Your default is to live in the numbers far more than the copy or creative. You’re comfortable in martech systems as well as standard reporting/BI tools. You love to ask “why?” and investigate to find the answer. You believe in testing and tweaking, you stand behind your data, and you understand the levers of growth marketing. You enjoy collaborating with the data team but aim to be self-sufficient for day to day programs. You understand the business and always work to uncover insights that drive growth. The ideal candidate enjoys being hands-on in creating campaigns that leverage learnings and improve results. You’re detail-oriented and take pride in your work to make sure it is accurate, expertly executed, and moves our business forward.

About the Role

Flourish’s growing marketing team is looking for a marketing leader to build and own marketing analytics and operations who will report into our CMO. This role will live in the marketing data, will continuously tweak to maximize growth results, and will constantly provide clear insights and reporting up to leadership. In this role, you'll own marketing data models, analytics and insights, working closely with our team to understand what drives marketing results and owning regular reporting processes and cadences. You will run the email marketing function, helping to drive opportunities to segment messaging and target audiences with the right email at the right time. You’ll be an integral partner to campaign ideation and planning, working with the team to create campaigns that leverage past learnings and test new ideas. You’ll be responsible for proposing where resources are spent, providing clear performance reporting in a visually appealing way, and demonstrate what is and is not working.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Build and lead the Flourish marketing data program and be the most senior quantitative member of the Marketing team
  • Own and manage data and reporting for paid and organic campaigns to meet ambitious growth goals
  • Deliver clear performance reporting to demonstrate how campaigns are contributing to growth and engagement and to strategize areas for improvement and optimization
  • Manage execution for the marketing email program, focusing on audience segmentation
  • Track and report on campaign and email program reports
  • Develop and implement marketing analytics strategies to measure campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Lead the analysis of marketing data to evaluate ROI, optimize budget allocation, and improve marketing performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content and performance marketing, sales, and product development, to align analytics efforts with business objectives
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management, influencing strategic decisions
  • Be accountable for the quantitative side of the Marketing team
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in data, analytics, or other related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in marketing data and analytics
  • Proven track record of delivering growth in the B2B space as a data and analytics or marketing program manager
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and digestible reports
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools and platforms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of and experience with multiple types of paid and unpaid channels
  • Due to the nature of this position, as part of the background check process, candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration, additional regulatory screenings may apply, including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in marketing, analytics, statistics, or a related field
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and email systems, Hubspot preferred
  • Experience in wealth management or financial services more broadly
