About the Role:

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to own the full marketing strategy and drive pipeline + revenue growth. This person will lead SMB demand generation across paid channels, lifecycle/email, content, webinars, and outbound support, while continuously improving conversion throughout the funnel. You’ll partner closely with Sales and Product on positioning, messaging, and ICP, run fast experiments, and track performance metrics like CAC, payback, and conversion rates. This is a hands-on role in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup, with the opportunity to build and lead a team over time.

What you'll do

  • Own the full marketing plan and hit pipeline + revenue targets

  • Build and run SMB demand gen: paid search/social, outbound support, webinars, email, lifecycle, mail

  • Improve conversion across the funnel (visit → lead → SQL → closed-won)

  • Own positioning + messaging and keep it tight, clear, and usable by Sales Ship content that drives deals: landing pages, case studies, sales enablement, product pages
Run experiments fast, keep what works, kill what doesn't

  • Manage budget and report results weekly (pipeline, CAC, payback, conversion rates)

  • Partner with Sales + Product daily to align on ICP, offers, and feedback from the field

  • Hire and lead a small team over time (or work hands-on until you do)

What we're looking for

  • 7-12 years in SMB SaaS marketing

  • Proven track record generating pipeline and revenue (not just "brand" work)

  • Strong performance marketing skills (paid + landing pages + CRO)

  • Strong lifecycle marketing skills (email, nurture, onboarding, retention)

  • Clear writer and editor. Can turn messy ideas into simple, sharp messaging.

  • Comfortable with numbers and attribution. You can explain results without hand-waving.

  • Bias for action: you execute fast and don't wait to be told what to do

  • You've worked in a high-growth startup and can handle messy, changing priorities

Anagram offers employees:

  • Industry-leading compensation, including salary and equity ownership

  • MacBook, monitor, and all the technologies you need to succeed

  • Full Medical & Dental Insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 401k

  • Remote first company

  • Fast-paced startup environment

Anagram is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
