The Head of Marketing will define Midstream's market narrative, drive demand generation, and establish thought leadership in healthcare AI operational infrastructure. This role involves building marketing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and executing marketing initiatives.
The summary above was generated by AI

Midstream is an AI-native financial operating system for health systems, founded by experienced entrepreneurs and backed by top-tier investors. We give finance, supply chain, and managed care teams real-time visibility into where margin is at risk, with a precise action plan for capturing it before it's gone.

Purpose-built for healthcare's complexity, Midstream transforms structured, unstructured, and external data into instant, contract-aware insights that drive smarter decisions. Our AI agents unify spend and revenue operations across the full back-office, learning and adapting with every interaction and delivering always-on intelligence that no point solution or one-off engagement can match.

We're compressing months to minutes and turning post-period hindsight into in-the-moment foresight. The tempo of healthcare finance is changing, and Midstream is leading it.

Opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to define how Midstream shows up in the market and help shape a new category around AI-enabled operational infrastructure for healthcare.

This role owns Midstream’s market narrative, brand presence, and demand generation engine. You will shape how healthcare leaders understand the operational and financial challenges facing health systems—and how modern infrastructure, including agentic AI, can transform those operations.

As the company’s first senior marketing leader, you will define positioning, establish thought leadership, and build the systems that translate market awareness into qualified pipeline.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Early on, you will execute core marketing initiatives—content, campaigns, events, and executive thought leadership—while building the infrastructure required to scale marketing over time. You will work closely with product, sales, and leadership to ensure Midstream’s messaging reflects real buyer conversations and drives meaningful pipeline.

What you'll be doing

Define Midstream’s market narrative

Develop clear messaging around the financial and operational pressures facing health systems and how Midstream improves operational efficiency and financial performance.

Build thought leadership

Position Midstream as a credible voice in healthcare operational transformation through executive content, industry insights, and educational material on AI-enabled operations.

Drive demand generation

Design and execute programs that convert awareness into pipeline through webinars, events, digital campaigns, and strategic account engagement.

Lead product marketing

Translate Midstream’s capabilities into clear market value through positioning, competitive differentiation, sales enablement, and product launch support.

Build the marketing operating system

Establish the infrastructure needed to scale marketing, including campaign planning, analytics, lead attribution, and CRM alignment with sales.

Who you are

A marketing builder

You’ve built or scaled marketing in early-stage B2B or health tech companies and are comfortable creating structure where little exists.

A strategic storyteller

You frame complex industry challenges in ways that resonate with enterprise buyers and executive decision makers.

Hands-on and execution oriented

You’re comfortable writing, launching campaigns, and shaping messaging while building the systems that will scale marketing.

Experienced with complex buyers

You understand enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision making.

A strong cross-functional partner

You work closely with sales, product, and leadership to ensure marketing reflects real buyer conversations and drives pipeline.
