We’re looking for a Director of Originations to lead borrower acquisition and origination strategy for Arc Capital Markets. This is a high-impact role responsible for building and scaling our origination motion, from inbound conversion to outbound strategy, while leading a growing team and partnering closely with Capital Leads, Product, and Executive Leadership.

This role reports directly to Arc’s executive team and will be a foundational leader in shaping how capital flows through the Arc platform.

✅ What you’ll accomplish:
  • Own borrower origination end-to-end across inbound and outbound channels for Arc Capital Markets.

  • Build, lead, and scale the origination team including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.

  • Design and continuously improve Arc’s go-to-market strategy for debt capital - ICP definition, segmentation, messaging, and channel mix.

  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Capital Leads to ensure seamless handoffs, strong conversion, and high-quality deal flow.

  • Drive predictable pipeline creation and revenue growth, with clear ownership of origination targets, funnel metrics, and forecasting.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and Marketing to improve inbound quality, conversion rates, and borrower experience.

  • Sit in on high-value borrower conversations and lead strategic deals where needed.

  • Build scalable processes, playbooks, and systems to support growth as Arc’s capital markets business expands.

  • Serve as a key voice internally on market feedback, borrower needs, and capital demand trends.

⚡️ What you bring:
  • 6–10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or origination, ideally in fintech, private credit, venture debt, banking, or adjacent capital markets roles.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling origination or sales teams in a high-growth environment.

  • Strong understanding of debt products (venture debt, growth debt, credit facilities, structured capital) and how founders think about financing decisions.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to zoom out and design systems—while still being hands-on when needed.

  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence with CFOs, founders, and institutional partners.

  • Data-driven operator with experience owning pipeline metrics, forecasting, and revenue outcomes.

  • Ownership mentality, bias for action, and high personal bar.
