Job Summary
TEMENOS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Partner Sales for the Americas region. This role is responsible for driving significant revenue growth through the effective management and expansion of our partner sales channels across North and South America. The successful candidate will be a customer-centric leader with a proven ability to build strong relationships, close complex deals, and effectively articulate the value of our solutions to a diverse partner ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive partner sales strategy for the Americas, aligning with overall company objectives and revenue targets.
* Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing team of partner sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
* Identify, recruit, and develop new strategic partners (e.g., system integrators, value-added resellers, technology partners) to expand market reach and sales opportunities.
* Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners, fostering collaboration and mutual success.
* Drive partner engagement and enablement, ensuring partners are fully equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively sell TEMENOS solutions.
* Collaborate closely with internal sales teams, marketing, product, and professional services to ensure seamless execution and partner support.
* Lead complex sales cycles, leveraging strong understanding of customer needs and buying influences to effectively present solutions and overcome objections.
* Utilize sales data and systems (e.g., CRM) to monitor partner performance, forecast sales, and identify areas for improvement.
* Actively prospect for new partner opportunities and manage partner pipelines to ensure consistent growth.
* Represent TEMENOS at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to promote brand awareness and expand network.
* Effectively communicate the value proposition of TEMENOS solutions to partners and their end customers through compelling presentations and verbal communication.
Job Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in partner sales leadership within the financial technology or enterprise software industry, specifically within the Americas region.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth through partner channels.
* Exceptional ability to build rapport and establish strong, trusted relationships with partners at all levels.
* Highly skilled in closing complex sales deals, demonstrating a deep understanding of sales methodologies and negotiation techniques.
* Customer-focused approach with a strong ability to understand customer needs and align solutions effectively.
* Proficiency in sales data management and utilizing sales systems and tools (e.g., CRM, Salesforce).
* Strong direct selling capabilities, coupled with the ability to enable and empower partners to sell independently.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
* A keen understanding of buying influences and decision-making processes within target markets.
* Demonstrated ability to expand service offerings and identify new opportunities within existing partner relationships.
* Proactive in initiating compelling sales conversations and effectively managing buyer indifference.
* Expertise in prospecting and pipeline management to ensure a consistent flow of new business.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable.
