Position Overview:
As the Head of Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust channel partnership strategy that secures exclusive alliances with key industry channels. You will lead efforts to own and dominate the channel, ensuring our solutions become the preferred choice in the pet care industry. Existing relationships in the pet industry and deep knowledge of vertical SaaS partnerships will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development:

    • Formulate and implement a comprehensive channel partnership strategy aligned with our business goals.

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure exclusive partnerships with the most important channels in the pet care industry.

  • Channel Leadership:

    • Own the end-to-end channel ecosystem to establish our dominance in the market.

    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.

  • Relationship Management:

    • Leverage existing relationships and build new connections within the pet care industry to drive strategic value.

    • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that deliver mutual growth and revenue.

  • Creative Partnership Solutions:

    • Develop innovative and customized partnership solutions to overcome challenges and achieve business objectives.

    • Utilize industry insights to refine and optimize our partnership models continuously.

  • Market Analysis & Performance:

    • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic adjustments.

    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of partnership initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in developing and managing channel partnerships, ideally within the SaaS or pet care vertical.

  • Demonstrated ability to strategize, build, and nurture exclusive, high-impact channel partnerships.

  • Strong existing relationships within the pet care industry are highly desirable.

  • In-depth understanding of vertical SaaS partnerships and market dynamics.

  • Proven negotiation skills with a creative approach to crafting partnership solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering measurable growth.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and drive cross-functional collaboration.
