Own and expand Footprint’s partnerships channel with consulting firms and advisors serving banks and fintechs. Responsibilities include managing existing partner relationships, sourcing and closing referral and channel agreements, defining partner economics, enabling partners to explain the product, improving referral-to-revenue handoffs, and building the reporting, processes, and playbook for a scalable channel function.

Footprint is the agentic platform that learns your compliance program and runs it end to end.

Compliance teams at banks and fintechs are drowning in financial crimes investigations. Transaction volumes are surging, regulators keep raising the bar, and the work still runs on manual review queues stitched together from legacy vendors. Percy, our agentic system, learns each team's procedures and makes the same calls their analysts would: clearing false positives, escalating real risk, writing the case narrative, and documenting every decision for audit. It cuts review workloads by 70%+.

The harder problem is underneath. Every investigation is grounded in the data sources compliance teams already trust, and every case commits to an organizational memory that compounds — so a pattern one analyst caught in March surfaces automatically in October, across KYC, EDD, sanctions, and monitoring. Whether the team is five analysts or 500, they share one brain. Every memory carries provenance. Agents propose; humans approve. That's four years of identity infrastructure sitting under the agent, and it's the part nobody can bolt on later.

We're backed by QED, Index, and Box Group, and trusted by FDIC- and OCC-regulated banks plus fintechs like Bilt, Nuvei, and MoonPay. We 5x'd revenue last year. The team is small, senior, and ships fast.

The Role

For four years, Footprint sold direct. Our AEs found the compliance and risk leaders drowning in investigations, and Percy did the rest.

Banks and fintechs don't decide alone. When a compliance team is short-staffed, needs its procedures updated, or has to get a new tool implemented, it calls a consulting firm or an advisor. Increasingly, Percy is what those firms recommend. We have those partnerships in place today, we're expanding the roster deliberately, and partnerships already make up a substantial piece of our pipeline.

The channel has no dedicated leader. Every partner relationship we have was built by someone doing it alongside another full-time job. That's this role, and it's a seat set up to win from day one.

You inherit a live partner book and a set of firms our investors have already opened doors to. What doesn't exist yet is yours to build: which firms are worth partnering with, what a Footprint partner agreement looks like, how a recommendation becomes a qualified opportunity, and what the channel is accountable for.

You'll report directly to our Head of GTM Strategy.

What You'll Own
  • The partner book we already have. The relationships are real and they live in different people's heads. You take them over: who owns which firm, what each side has committed to, and what each partner is actually getting back

  • New referral and channel partnerships. You source, structure, and close them with the consulting firms and advisors who serve banks and fintechs. You also decide which firms aren't worth the effort, which is the harder half of the job

  • The path from recommendation to revenue. Today a partner referral arrives and gets worked like any other lead. You own the handoff into sales, the follow-through with the partner while the deal is live, and the pipeline and revenue number the channel carries

  • Partner enablement. Partners recommend what they can explain. Percy makes judgment calls on financial crime cases, and a partner has to be able to describe that to a compliance officer without you in the room. You decide what they need to get there and you build it

  • The function. Deal structures, referral and reseller terms, partner economics, and the reporting that shows whether any of this is working. You write the playbook the next three people inherit

Must-Have
  • 3+ years in partnerships, channel, or business development, or consulting to financial institutions

  • You've sourced and closed a referral or channel partnership yourself, and you can name the pipeline or revenue it produced

  • You've sold to or advised banks, credit unions, or fintechs, and you know how a compliance or risk buyer actually gets to a yes - the security review, the procurement cycle, the committee that can kill it

  • You've structured a partner agreement, including the terms and the economics, and you can walk through what you pushed for and why

  • You can explain a technical product to a non-technical partner well enough that they can repeat it accurately

  • You've built a function or a motion that had no template - a new territory, a new channel, a first partner program - and you can describe what you started with

Nice to Have
  • An existing network of consulting firms, advisors, or BPOs serving banks and fintechs. Our strongest partner conversations have started as warm introductions, so a network you can call on shortens the ramp by months

  • Exposure to financial crime, AML, fraud, or compliance operations. Partners test whether you understand their clients' work before they'll put you in front of them

  • Experience standing up a channel program from zero, including the deal economics. You'd be setting the structures everyone who comes after you inherits

Success Looks Like

90 Days - You've met every partner we have and you know which of those relationships are real and which are nominal. You've made the call on where the next quarter goes. Partner questions get routed to you.

1 Year - Partnerships is a channel with a number attached: sourced pipeline, closed revenue, and a partner roster you chose. Signing a new partner runs through a process you wrote.

Why Join Footprint
  • Massive impact, fast: You'll work on projects that shape company direction, not analysis that gets shelved.

  • Own meaningful work: From day one, you'll have direct ownership over strategic initiatives that drive the business forward.

  • Real growth opportunity: Promotion timelines depend on performance: the harder you work, the quicker you'll get promoted.

  • Winning team and culture: We're a fast-moving, no-BS team that likes to win (and have fun doing it).

  • 🍽 Free lunch and dinner (after 7pm)
